Anyone try and buy 6 bottles which are avaliable in sainsburys and see how brand match works with the 25% off there?

Thanks for posting this AW08. All I can say is Yum-Yum, Vintage Cava in my Tum. It's the ultra dry version (2012) and a steal at £6.75 after the discount is applied.

Just bought 6 x Casillero del Diablo Chardonnay/Merlot priced at £8 ( but on offer 2 for £12)
Double discount was applied resulting in the bottles costing £4 per bottle.

Further to my last posting....person at customer services told me that there was no 25% offer on wine and fizz but I've just had a look at the website again and this offer does seem to be valid. Could it be that there is a difference between offers from Tesco Wine and Tesco Groceries.?

Has anyone else noticed that the 25% is only coming off full price wine, in the past it has also been applied to wines on offer?

Just tried brand match on jacobs creek. The 25% was taken off and then the brand match done so overall total price worked out exactly the same as asda without the 25%. No benefit to buying these wines from tesco rather than asda.
E.g TESCO
6 x Jacobs Creek @ 6.50 is 39.00

ASDA
6 X Jacobs Creek @ 4.50 is 27.00 (2 bottles for 9.00)

25% off at Tesco makes price 29.25
Brand match of 2.25 given at till so total price 27.00.

I was in store on Monday and saw a particular wine I like; it was £6 - not special offer, regular SEL. I thought I'd be back to buy when I was in the car. Just looked online: it's there at £8.50! So even with 25% off it's now dearer!

Well I've still got lots left over from Christmas otherwise I would! Cava is nice from there too and will be £3.75 a bottle - very tempting!
