Hi, can anyone possibly help.... I got another of these tv's (thanks for posting OP) already had one and was delighted with it for the price so wanted another, as they are so sleek and look cool wall mounted....my 2 kids share a big bedroom, both got high sleepers and have the tv's mounted on the wall at the end of their beds for xbox/ps4.... as these are both exactly the same model since putting up this second one this morning each other's remotes are causing havoc.... son turns on his tv and xbox then the other son turns his on which turns off other son's tv etc etc....
Was funny for about 5 mins  but need a solution quick, so thought someone lovely and helpful on here can come to my rescue :stuck_out_tongue: xx

Not sure I get your logic. Why not spend an extra £80 on top of your 40'' and get the 50''. The TV you mention is no better value than this one. Only makes sense to compare against a similar size TV, and for this money this is the best TV on the market.

as for £66 your getting a 40 inch and its a smart tv. It wont be ideal for everyone but if you have the space and it meets your needs I thought its a better option. People can have these tvs for bedrooms or second reception rooms ect

if you got the space better of paying the extra £66 and getting this
Why would people be better off spending 50% more money on this TV?
I am sure many people want this TV for a smaller bedroom, kitchen or a like, where a TV any bigger either wouldn't fit or is totally unnecessary.

You have your stand the incorrect way around (well at least accorindng to the quick start guide). The hoop is to the front to prevent it toppling over (as it's quite a flimsy TV).
Got mine this afternoon. Pleased with the picture however notice a finger print like mark on the plastic surrounding the screen (sort of like a grease mark). Tried cleaning it off with various cleaning substances, but it must be a fault. Unsure whether or not to take back. :disappointed:

It's a personal preference thing but I thought the default picture was very dark and the default sound wasn't great either but that's just my opinion, play around with the settings and see what you like best.

Good deal. I got the same TV but with built in DVD last year for around £80 - best HUKD bargain I think I've had! Its a decent TV with a nice picture for the price.

Bought it in the end. With that DS4 charger (I use one for my PC, so not wasted) it was £123.99 after clubcard vouchers. I could get a similar Samsung with 6 year warranty for £100 more, but that's too much of a difference. I'd rather put the £100 towards a new one if this breaks!

It looks like Tesco don't offer extended warranties anymore. I'd go for this if I new it'd last/be repaired for 5 years, but as it stands £133 per 12 months worst case isn't great

There's one comment here saying the TV has lasted years, I've had a 40 inch UMC for 4 years now, sometimes you get lucky with electronics and sometimes you don't, if you want a 5 year warranty generally you're gonna pay alot more than this, I don't blame you for wanting the most for your money but this isn't the deal for you.

bit the bullet and went for it, seems like a very decent price for full HD, can't believe stores are still selling "HD ready" TVs in 2017

To be fair there are still alot of people who don't know the different between 720p and 1080p
I had to absolutely convince one friend and his children that there was a visual difference between itv sd and the itv HD channel, what was obvious to me and important to me, they couldn't see and they didn't care.
And then there's me worrying my 4k TV isn't 10bit & am I sitting at the right distance, that my YouTube app won't force 4k streams and most are 1440p and so on and so forth.
