The sound and the material of it have good quality.

bought these a few weeks ago. truly awful.
they look like they are going to be comfy as hell... they aren't. the ear cups look massive with thick padding, but the actual ear hole is round, and very shallow so your ears press the plastic driver housing, unless of course you have ears like kryten from red dwarf.
Now I bought these as a secondary set to my Astro A50 gen 3 because I was sick of unplugging the base station and moving it between my PC and PS4. Now I know these are mega cheap here, but for 129.99 on Amazon for the newer Siberia 650 I was expecting fairly close audio quality considering this is wired Vs the Astro A50 wireless system. The surround sound was awful, stereo sound was awful, I had massive issues with the mic on windows 10 (with this being cleared up in the last version of Steelseries Engine 3).
I expected so much more considering its RRP.
Now these may work very well on the consoles via the audio jack as I only tested with the USB sound card.
for 30 quid, I was still disappointed.
if this is going to be your only headset, spend an extra 20-30 on some HyperX Clouds or if you want Steelseries, just get some Siberia V2's or Siberia 200s with a cheap USB sound card like the Asus Xonar U3. I've had that set up in previous years and they were spot on and more comfy than these.

Disagree on most counts.
Comfort isn't fantastic, but it's good enough -- after a 2-3 hours you can definitely feel them. I have got a big head though. Definitely not shallow cups for me.
The big issue is the soundcard: it's awful. Directly plugged in, it's a great headset, but through the soundcard, everything's quieter. The mic is almost unusable through the soundcard because it's so quiet, and the touted surround sound is poor quality (but then who seriously uses software surround?). The actual audio quality's great though.
Also, the 650 is the same as the Elite Prism. It's just a new name. Says so on the SteelSeries support page.
£130 is a joke (no idea how these are so popular at that price), but for £50 they're good; <£30 is a steal...

tried them from Amazon, using USB connector the volume is too low for me, it is the same with microphone, sound fine on 3.5 mm jack, but then the RGB does not work, so I send mine back.

Bought a few weeks back. I do find my microphone a bit quiet, besides that I can't complain.

They're nice dont get me wrong, just slightly dissapointed, had a decent sound card before and found the 7.1 and overall sound was better for music

yes i also got them the other week when they were £27. good quality and the RGB is great. they work best on the pc using the usb sound card that comes with it, but they can be used on a phone as they also come with a 3.5mm jack adaptor. very comfortable .

Game seems to keep listing these at this price, white and black were at this price a few weeks back. Bought them and haven't looked back, miles comfier and better sound than my Razer kraken Chromas.
