There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes. Combine your arsenal of futuristic and iconic guns, upgrades, movement, and an advanced melee system to knock-down, slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons in creative and violent ways.
Return of id Multiplayer
Dominate your opponents in DOOM’s signature, fast-paced arena-style combat. In both classic and all-new game modes, annihilate your enemies utilizing your personal blend of skill, powerful weapons, vertical movement, and unique power-ups that allow you to play as a demon.
Endless Possibilities

Great game, and totally worth it at that price. I got it for just under £10 last week. Reminds me of the original, but in all the good ways.

There is a season pass yes as for the game itself I don't know because I haven't played it
The Season Pass Includes:
Unto the Evil (released on August 4, 2016)
New maps:
Cataclysm, a UAC space station with a permanent portal to Hell. Players can move back and forth from Hell to the station.
Offering, an ancient temple and fortress built atop a pool of Argent energy. Hell environments, lava, and deadly voids are featured.
Ritual, a frozen wasteland located at the Martian polar core. The UAC has performed cult-like experiments using a nearby demonic artifact, which can be activated to engulf enemy players in hellfire.
Demons:
The harvester is added to the demon rune. The harvester is similar in appearance to the summoner, consumes souls using lightning energy, and can perform a powerful ranged attack.
Weapons and items:
The EMG Mark V pistol is a fast-firing sidearm. its secondary fire allows the weapon to be charged for a more powerful shot.
The kinetic mine is proximity activated, and launches toward its target when triggered. It creates a blast area on impact.
Cosmetics:
Robotic armor allows competitors to appear as soulless machines.
Hell Followed (released on October 27, 2016)
New maps:
Argent Breach, a battle amid the ancient burial grounds of the Night Sentinels.
Molten, a volcanic world full of temples and crumbling geothermal power facilities.
Orbital, a low gravity deep-space robotic station. It is possible to fall into the vacuum of space.
Demons:
The cacodemon is added to the demon rune, capable of flight, belching its iconic ball lightning, and grabbing other players with a melee tongue attack.
Weapons and items:
The reaper is a demonic weapon from Hell which fires six rapid-fire bursts of Hell energy. It can also be charged for a single, more damaging shot.
The threat pulse is a UAC targeting device which can locate enemies at close range, even through walls.
Cosmetics:
Cyberdemonic armor allows competitors to take on a look inspired by the cyberdemon.
Bloodfall (released on December 14, 2016)
New maps:
Empyrian, an ancient floating, crumbling colosseum.
Boneyard, a battleground in the outer reaches of Hell where the environment is composed wholly of demonic flesh and bone.
Outbreak, a UAC facility overrun by escaped experiments.
Demon:
The spectre is added to the demon rune. Fast and heavily armored, the pinky demon can stalk other players using its invisibility, and can attack with an instant-gib bull rush.
Weapons and items:
The grenade launcher, a weapon banned by the UAC. Bank grenades off walls for splash damage, or use the weapon's secondary firing mode to detonate a smoke grenade for extra cover from enemy fire.
Lateral thrusters allow dodging enemy fire and add a third, mid-air jump.
Hack modules:
Augmented healing
Extra protection
Gain extra health per health pickup
Gain extra armor per health pickup
Glory sight
Highlight enemies that can be glory killed from farther away
Cosmetics:
Cultist armor
Fifteen new paints and customization patterns

I believe it's only for online multiplayer? No new levels for the SP mode. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Heat and bought. Was waiting for this to drop in price again.

An amazing experience .
Such an under rated game.

It doesn't need it. It's so well optimised that it will run well on pretty much anything from the last few years anyway.

I have never posted a comment on here but am making an exception to this. DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought the game off CD keys a few weeks ago. They sent me the link and I tried to download the game. My computer is nearly brand new so should have been able to accommodate the game. It wouldn`t download. Despite many attempts to contact CD keys for technical assistance they do not have the wherewithall to actually speak to anyone. Therefore my money was wasted.
BE AWARE> DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me that the best thing you can do is take the computer back to the shop and walk away.

The single player is amazing. The multiplayer is so so. At this late stage I don't think the season pass is worth it. Just play Quake Champions instead, netcode issues aside it's shaping up nicely.
They only send you a link to a picture of a steam key which you then validate in steam. You never download a game from their site. You must be thinking of somewhere else.
This. Especially with Vulkan, Doom 2016 is incredibly well optimised.

The season pass is just for multiplayer (details in nathan3007's post above). All the single player dlc was free. Which included the awesome arcade mode.
My only complaint about the game is the huge installed size. A large part of which is the multiplayer which I don't play anymore. I'd love to keep it on my disk for quick blasts of my favourite levels but it takes up too much space :disappointed:

Not in 4K it wont. Shame as i have 2 GTX980's. SLI/X-Fire is going the way of the dodo.
All that clap trap about DX12 being able to make better use of Multi-GPU's was utter bs.

It has gone up to £8.99 now, or £8.54 after the discount. "Instant Gaming" is selling it at £7.95, but I don't like the sound of their practice of requesting photo ID after taking payment, so I just bought it from CDKeys for £8.54 instead.
