Oscillating tower fan with three speeds and timer, wasn't expecting much joy when looking instore but got one from Tamworth store (Jolly Sailor)
Great price for a tower fan and works well. Quiet and timer a bonus
I've put as instore only as out of stock online so worth trying local stores for stock.

Got one a few days ago.....pretty good, but think I need another due to the size of the room. Crazy heat this week !

I got one of these on Wednesday. Good value and it does the job, just not the most robust.
The bottom cover seems weak - it came away along with the base when I picked it up to move it upstairs. Wilko swapped it today without fuss and the new one seems better, but I would still be careful moving it. Given the low price, I still consider it worth having.

Our one has a handle cut out at top for moving? Im sure they are all built similar for packing into the boxes! I'm pleased with ours for the money and the amount we will use it per year great price

Yes, I think maybe it was damaged in transit or slipped through QC. The bottom cover is held on by three screws, one turned out to be missing and the other two didn't seem to be getting any grip on the plastic, maybe they were overtightened and the plastic threads stripped.
The replacement is fitted properly, I just wonder if the plastic is a bit weak/brittle. I know anything can break if mishandled though.
Like you say, for the amount we tend to use fans in the UK, why spend more?
