Damn I paid 22 just for the season pass the other day and don't even own the game (play via EA Access subscription. This is a a great deal for a fantastic game.
Yes but have to pay extra for the season pass content so better to buy this if you want that

This is gonna sound a dumb question, but is this basically the base game and the season pack with expansions. I don't need ea access sub for this do I?
I had the physical disk but traded in after a week as it was a bit repetitive. I fancy giving it a go if this is the complete pack.

if you never play online MP, dont bother getting this, just get the base game, DLC is online MP only, wish they had said somewhere as i paid for it and took a week just to download it, then to find out it was online only with all the DLC, just ruined it

Are they ever going to fix the multiplayer.
Bought the season pass on xb1 and still can't select any game mode I want due to lack of players owning season pass. I am referring to fighter squadron in particular.
The only way to fix this is to give the season pass to everybody for free and merge all the dlc into the main game.
Honestly feel like looking for a refund and think I'd be entitled to one.
Game still broken 1.5 years on. What a joke. I'm bootlegging the next one

The game is not really broken if the player base is missing. I suppose Battlefield 1 will have similar problems due to season pass related fragmentation. Titanfall went a better route, ditching the season pass and that should be commended.

Yeap, the main game had so little content that when they did release DLC it split up a already dwindling user base even more, killed the game stone dead...and here are player stats for today.
PC: 937 (24h peak: 3,477)
XBOXONE: 2,578 (24h peak: 12,291)
PS4: 5,471 (24h peak: 16,056)
Total: 8,986
I have it on the PC but getting into online game these days is a chore, and you can see why. lol

Same price (well, £14.99) on PC via Origin (checked last night). Was tempted but I'm not sure I'd get value out of it as I'd only play single player. But the videos make it look great (natch). I'm conflicted!

Same here! Thought about, but then I remembered I already have too many FPSs to play and decided to hold off until Battlefront 2 in November. Although, then I'll be playing Destiny 2 and Red Dead 2, so I probably won't buy that either.

There is no single player aspect to this game, there are some time based levels where you have to beat the clock to get a gold level but that is about it, but nothing here for people looking for a single player game.

I think paid DLC in multiplayer games is always a bad idea. I think Destiny got away with it because the competitive part is free and the co-op DLC is paid. Gears of War 4's model is also alright with everybody being able to play all maps that are in rotation, but only those that have the season pass can start custom matches with certain maps. The best for the customer is when DLC is free, like in the case of Titanfall and Halo 5.

Quick question on this, a couple of my mates have brought it as it's cheap. I'm wanting to play it again, if I get this can I just download the DLC as I already have a hard copy of the base game?!
Getting this is cheaper than buying the season pass..

Thanks for that. I saw the standard version was £7.79 on cdkeys.com last night (plus 10% MAYTHE4TH discount!) and nearly pulled the trigger - glad I didn't bother now.

The sequal will be here in six months and it won't have any season pass, so the entrie gamer base will have all the maps period, and it will also have a single player story, EA have learned their lesson at last, although you will be able to by cosmetic stuff like costumes and the likes, but it seems devs and publishers are getting the message, no extra maps locked behind a season pass....and i suspect all the extra season pass maps from this first game will appear in the second one as nobody really got to play them. ha
