Personally, this is a great price. Battlefront itself didn't drop for months after its launch, to be exact I waited for it to be £20 before buying and that wasn't until 6-7 months after it was released (was on XB1).

Don't preorder this. Battlefront 1 was a complete rip off, wait to see if EA isn't going to blow this too

Really tempted but it's a brave man who pre-orders anything from EA.

I'm not one of the anti pre-order brigade, in fact I spend a lot of my time complaining about them. However you would seriously need to have your head stuck up your **** to consider pre-ordering this.

Why was it a complete ripoff? Must of played about 40hrs so rather good value for money.
Won't get much cheaper before release since EA seem to have twigged onto regional buying.

Why? It was good, I enjoyed it. RB6 Siege is just online and that's brilliant even with the sh** servers. Yes the DLC for Battlefront was expensive but you buy the base game and then expect people work weeks on DLC to give it out for free. Should know, nothing comes free nowadays :smirk:

Agreed it was disappointing. But I see it as the equivalent to Titanfall. Ea listened and Titanfall 2 is awesome. Ea will do the same and bring out a much more solid/ full package Star Wars game. The only thing that will be different from Titanfall 2 (except the obvious) is that the season pass, DLC for BF2 will be expensive and not free.
But respect to those who are waiting until E3 to know for sure.

Very true mate. Happened with For Honor which tbf I haven't played in ages but pre order was £26 and when released it was like £36. Don't think it's been £26 yet.

For everyone's information Battlefront 2 has a fully fleshed out single player campaign where you play as an Elite Death Trooper set around the time of Return of the Jedi.
Also EA have stated their will be NO season pass so there will be NO player fragmentation and there will be Space Battles.
This was from an article on IGN and I suggest people check out the recent trailers as in my opinion the game looks awesome.

LOL! I've had the game since it's release in December 2015, I'm 2 rank below diamond in ranked. By the sounds of it, you haven't played it if you think RB6 has a SP mode. Been able to play a solo mode does not mean it's got a single player.

You can't get a key, the game isn't out till November. You'll just get given a key a day before release, usually anyway.

4 May 171#37
Great price but please don't expect EA to provide a single player that has much depth. Judging by BF1 single player, it'll be 6 hours of mixed quality. Hope I'm proved wrong but won't be buying until the reviews are out.
Midnight.Tboy to notos
4 May 171#38
You think EA actually write the stories/single player themselves?
I think you are confusing 'single player' and 'campaign mode'. Clearly Siege does not have a campaign but many people are quite happy playing single player through the offline modes offered - situations and terrorist hunt. Same for BF, Wildlands etc....
Whilst I agree it may not in your opinion make the most of what the game offers, that is not to say it cannot offer a sufficient single player experience for some.

There is no season pass for BF2. There may be DLC but no details provided ad of yet, whether it will be single player or MP stuff and if it is maps and new modes then it may be free like in Titanfall 2. Let's hope so.

The first game was absolute trash, not worthy of any gamers time and money. I won't be pre-ordering the 2nd on principal because I'm fully expecting it to bomb like the first. (3.5 Score on Metacritic now) awful, awful game.
We should all remember that the first game was in Bargain bins for less than £15 only a few months after it's release. I picked it up for £7 and still felt ripped off.

To add to the valid warnings above, Battlefront 1 PC server counts dropped so quickly within two weeks from release to just a few thousands according to swbstats.com. I would personally hold off on preordering or getting EA BF2 on release until there are assurances that the game is worth playing this time around.
Spark to hass123
5 May 17#65
Tbh, for that reason, I would hold off on pre-ordering or buying pretty much any EA shooter other than Battlefield at anything close to full price. That market is just too densely populated with free to play and ultra-popular franchises (BF, CSGO, Overwatch etc) for anything else to get a decent and sustainable player count. Even CoD has barely any active players on PC these days.
