Just looks like a basic chinese wireless cycle computer with the specialized brand stuck on. Can't see how this was ever worth £44.99, £24.99 or even £19.99.

I suspect the problem relates to the gap between the sensor on the fork and the magnet on the wheel. If you adjust it so that the two brush against each other and then gradually increase the gap you should find the correct position.

I think I got it all set up properly but it doesn't track anything.

Not directly comparable but how the hell can they sell these for that much?
This one definitely seems good for £7.99 for those who got it but personally I don't need cadence but would need a backlight so would probably look elsewhere anyway.

That's is true, however there are budget fitness bands around £15 that have more functionality for the money that your not going to cry over either. For a phone I just take an old Andriod one around.

Specialized cycle computers are just generic stuff worth a few quid with the branding printed on. Over the years they haven't exactly got stellar reviews. I would have bitten before the dawn of fitness wearables and smartphones but I wouldn't see the point of one now.

the point is at this price its a good bit of kit and if it gets damaged or wet/muddy its ok but if you damage you £££ garmin/apple watch or whatever item your wearing you will cry. this is a good deal. i still use my smart phone to track my ride but it stays in my Camelbak all day safe.

How does it read speed if wireless but not GPS?

sensor attached to front wheel

As part of the setup you tell it what the wheel/tyre size is and a sensor pics up the number of revolutions.
Frankly stonking price for a computer with cadence.

Looks good, does it link up to your strava / fitbit or is it just for while your riding ?

unfortunately doesn't support any bluetooth/gps functions, for this money you can't go wrong anyway
