Check your Sparks card if you are shopping in M&S food halls - bonus offer of £5 off a £25 spend on mine and my daughters - other relative had the offer for a £35 spend so account specific - single use to be used within 6 days but does need to be loaded to card by clicking on link on your sparks account. Hope it helps someone!

Prices can be a bit more expensive but the quality is far better.
On everyday items like bread, ketchup etc I find M&S are no more expensive than Morrisons or Tescos

Go to the stores about 18.30ish. If they're anything like ours, they mark all that day's expiring food down to silly prices. Had two beef wellingtons, a Oakham chicken, and four crispbakes for less than a fiver this week. Pop in freezer, eat like kings at less than Aldi prices. Try it.

On my a/c too. Thanks for encouraging me to check it! Pity it excludes wine, though

Agree - it has always worked with the dine in wine - no doubt because the wine is "free".

Can we use this offer to buy groceries with M&S or it has to be only cooked food?

I mean can I use this offer to buy fresh meat, fruits and vegetables?

Not such a good deal - think it's all to do with spending pattern - seems the more you spend usually the more they expect you to spend to get the offer! My daughter and I both have cards so share the use to maximise the benefits!

There must be something about M&S groceries which I don't get. What do you normally buy there, I kind of feel the prices are too high for what they sell?

Bread, cheese, fruit, veg, meat,, fish, jams, chutneys, ready meals for when we want a quick meal - often they have multi-buy offers and as already said I don't think they are any more expensive than Tesco, Morrisons or Sainsburys and the quality is good - also no problems if you do ever have cause to complain.

I used to buy their small rolls as my son loves baguette but he cant eat that long one in one go. Then an Aldi opened and a half baguette costs there 19 pence while at m&s is 50 pence and the quality is the same. So i stopped shopping there

Had the same offer, but tbh it still doesn't make it worth shopping there. I was a regular at M&S food halls for many years but found the quality heading in the opposite direction to their prices over time. I gave Aldi a try and wouldn't switch back now they have their premium ranges. Their premium steaks in particular are better than any I ever bought from M&S. :man:

Just been into M&S today and asked about the Dine in Deal, only to be told that M&S management have decided to run it once every four weeks now instead of every two.
A popular deal just got a little more rare.

Problem with M&S is some of the stuff is getting too expensive but also you need a maths degree to work out the offers. All this 3 for £10 business is so offputting. It would just be better if they lowered the prices instead of adding complicated offers where some are included and some are not. You don't need all that palaver when you are shopping.

Used mine, got a load of essentials that were on my list, a couple of impulse buys and a lovely stir fry for tea. Had a look on MySupermarket at a comparable shop and with the discount it came in a few pounds cheaper than where we usually shop.

If it excludes wine, does that mean you couldn't get, say, 2 Dine In meals with it? (plus something else of course)
scoffer1 to freccle
12 May 17#46
They have worked on these in the past as the wine is classed as being free - providing the cost of food or flowers meets the minimum spend that's fine - so you can buy wine too providing it is not as your required spend but takes you "over the limit"!!!
lasuil
12 May 171#47
It's also not off any branded goods, I checked the t's and c's before I went in. Bakery goods were fine
