Anti-bacterial wipes certainly exist in our fantastic world.
Do you bring your own cutlery to restaurants in fear they aren't cleaned to your standards?

*Uses screwdriver to scrape off crusty ear wax from a 12-yr old*
Great price but I question "used" headsets., seems... unhygienic.

Yet to find a human, never mind teenager that can fit this size of earphone on their ear canal. Is this a problem for you or do you know some dumbo related people?

Why would you get earwax on external headphones unless you have it on the outside of your ears? Earphones I could understand but not these. I bet they have already been thoroughly cleaned anyway. :man:

I think most people do, it's natural, but questioning hygiene on a 'like new' set of headphones..... Even if it somehow has wax on them it can be cleaned off very easily.

It's not the ear wax i'd worry about, is all the hair products at the top of the headphones!

You've no idea how hard its been to find a forum thread devoted to ear-wax. How did you guys find out about it?

I do.. you get some looks sometimes but the last time I was given dodgy cutlery at a restaurant I EXPLODED and I am a nutter at the best of times :/ it's not asking much for restaurants to be cleaner than my house! We don't eat out as much anymore family are afraid I'll have an outburst? I say PICK SOMEWHERE CLEAN WHERE THE THE FOOD IS MADE BY A CHEF!!!
Heated by the way.. great price! I paid £40 brand new at Asda when they had the fire sale on and am very happy with them

Ha ha ha. Welcome to another episode of HUKD bingo!! I posted this 2 days ago for the same price and it went sub zero. Anyway, I ordered white, they turned up today and apart from the box being opened they were like new.
In all fairness... My one is a bit cheaper. But still similar

Looking to try these but reviews about tinny reception and average quality regarding use other than gaming ( BluRay, Music etc) put me off. Was gonna get them on last Black Friday too, pity. Experience and losing cash on sub-standard overears mean i'll never buy without trying again, (3x bitten, reclusively shy).

Amazon has returns policy,
I got mine for £50, for the price it was 'ok'- not as imo as good as reviews say.
However it does do the job. I play R6 Siege and definitely upped my game somewhat (from ~1:1 kill ratio kinda guy I can hold 1:1.5 overnight).
I think gaming headsets, the most important thing is comfort. And it ticks that box so, I guess they done well?
I've also heard top band breaking through use/age, seems to be the 1.5-2year mark (probably due to plastics drying out and big head syndrome).
Then again, if I used it 1-2 hrs a day for 2 years, that's pretty good going.
Edit:
For sound quality - overall emersion of sound is just ok. I found it a bit cold even with some EQ setting from Sony app on ps4.
I wouldn't put the word tinny though. Think Sennheiser of around £20-30 but with more bass. Since you are getting BT and nice comfy materials with it, it's kinda what you'd expect.

Completely agree mine were a patchwork of duct tape after around 18 months stress cracks all over the band don't take long before cracking completely also have a friend who had these and exactly the same scenario, after all that it has to be said the sound quality is excellent.

Can anyone confirm that the Spotify app on the ps4 outputs muffled sound, I didn't notice it with my TV speakers but since listening on this headset its sounding really bad. Everything else sounds brilliant through them a part from Spotify.

I had no problems with Spotify on my PS4 in fact the opposite as i said in my last post the sound quality is outstanding with this headset.

For those worried about potential hygiene issues, some of the black headphones from warehouse deals are listed as 'factory sealed'. They're £40 instead of £36 and only show up if you have prime, but it's a steal if they are indeed new.

They have a nasty habit of breaking at the hinges. My current set are 2 years going strong but set before hand broke in less than a month.
The main reason I would never buy these used, pay the extra and get a warranty.

Thanks, I've ordered another pair from Amazon warehouse, my old pairs battery life is very short and they are showing signs of age so happy to replace, Pretty good going getting a like new pair for £37.

Received my like new pair today, can't fault them in the slightest and not a mark on them inc earwax
Over-ears, I've only bought two - White Koss PortaPros (perfect) and Noontec Zorro HD headphones (also perfect).

For balance, Amazon Warehouse is a gamble - some are graded worse than they really are - some better, some are accurate. Just be prepared to be disappointed at times.

Which is why I also mentioned over-ear headphones at the bottom of my post. Not sure why you're (appearing to be) offended, just trying to inform.
And I was also responding to your comment about them being "Like New" - Amazon Warehouse's gradings are often wide of the mark.

My Black 'Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging.' Packaging will be damaged.' has arrived and i am pleased to say there is no damage to the packaging and the headset appears to look new along with no ear wax or signs of usage with all the cables and bits and bobs, so i am very happy with my purchase for £40.70!

Sad to say, my experience of in-ear headphones from Warehouse has been very bad. And those ^^ were graded as "As New"!
