I'm not sure if cashback will payout on top of a code being used.
Also, has anyone had any experience of 5 year guarantees through Currys/PCWorld? I know the general consensus is Richersounds/JL the go to for that usually.

Yeah I listed this as £824 as that's what mine went through at with the code.
Ill wait to see if I get the cashback as well!
Not sure about the 5 year warranty from Curry's, hopefully ill never have to use it!

£825's a reasonable price, although it's usually around £900. It hasn't been £1300 in six months.

Beware of Sony Android TVs with Youview.
You'd think that live pause, record was standard by now - but Sony don't support it because they use Youview as the EPG. This was an expensive mistake I made about 6 months ago (black friday).... was a very black friday.
My model also had dual satellite inputs and boasted recording.... guess what? Youview also disables those. OPs post doesn't have dual tuners, or satellite - so at least you aren't losing features you are paying for - but you will still be unable to pause/record live tv.
Failed the WAT (Wife Acceptance Test).
Made me put the 5 yo Samsung back in the living room and the new 49" 4K Sony went upstairs to the PS4/XB1 room.
Sony - never again (at least not before verifying that every feature I want, and they claim, actually works).

I got this model Sony Bravia KD55XD8005 from amazon at £639 (prime one day offer); excellent TV and image quality is out of this world. No issues with apps and connectivity with other devises are perfect.

Indeed you can. But then you are left with an EPG that looks like all the channels are selected from a random number generator. Mine had Adult Babestation between BBC1 and BBC2.

Android TV is slow, but if you're an Android user it's worth putting up with.... sadly.
Opening post
Reduced to £899 on Curry's, however use the following code for £75 off -
LSTV75A
Also top cash back will get you 1.5% back which will make this £810.50
Mines ordered... Good Luck!

Have you tried these steps to resolve it?
