You will need to buy a mattress but not a stand, a moses basket usually lasts baby for 6-9 weeks the crib should get to 5-6 months. Is one solid piece so easy to move. The bars let you see baby easily when lying down in bed rather than needing to sit up to see into a moses basket. (Please remember quilted bumper sets are NOT RECOMMENDED for children under 12 months due to SIDs risk. Use airflow / mesh ones if you want one)
