I have to admit. I had Seagate drives since I can remember. Never had an issue with with them. However one specific drive had to be returned 4 times in the space of eight weeks. Unfortunately made me swear I'd never touch them again which is a shame because I used to swear by them.

Awesome coincidence, bought one of these 4 hours ago. Didn't post it as I couldn't face the endless Seagate are crap comments. Have some heat

I did at Xmas. It seems to make noticeable mechanical noise at times. But not really that big an issue.

I bought a Seagate USB drive about 2 years ago for the same price, and it had a Samsung M9T drive inside, which I put in my PS4

Correct. Not available for delivery though and stock seems pretty limited from the quick searches I did.
Easier to grab it from Amazon and have it delivered tomorrow if you order in the next 3 minutes!

I've never had a problem with a Seagate before.
As opposed to recently when i bought a WD external hard drive and it lasted 48 hours before giving me "fatal device hardware error".
Seagate all the way for me. I must have gone insane to even try WD...

I have 6 of these and I carry them wherever. I also edit on it (usb 3) and they're fast enough! Never failed me but they are crap...

Ive been waiting for two weeks for a decently priced 2tb external drive. I buy one yesterday and this appears. Typical. Good price though.

I don't know from checking my own, but there's a review on Amazon from 7th May that says, "It you're after huge external backup, or if you want a cheap way to get the bare 2.5" 5TB SATA drives. Then this is the item for you.
Externally it's a USB3.0( or later) drive. If your USB2.0 port can supply enough power it will work on that as well.
Internally it's a standard 15mm high 2.5" SATA drive."
