Been after a cheap but decent GPU for a while. Only £70 after 20% discount.
Not a bad GPU at all, and 4GB to boot
Over 18 in stock, all "very good" then another 4, like new for around £3.00 higher

Why are some Amazon Warehouse (used) cards discounted and others aren't? Any easy way of telling?

I've upgraded from a 750ti mainly as I intend to sell the 750ti and recoup most of the outlay. This definitely has more grunt and the main reason I upgraded was that my 750ti would only work at 4k at 30mz and this will do 60mz at 4k. Its only for desktop use and strategy games. Also my 750 ti wouldn't display the bios on my 4k monitor at all. No problem with this.

Is this the one that requires 6 pin power connector? I know that none of 2 GB versions do, but i've read that some of the 4 GB requires it and I can't quite find it. However, gtx 1050 is available for 80 pounds which gives a better performance albeit only having 2 GB of vram.

This or 750ti?

Depends on the price of the 750ti you're looking at and your requirements. Toms hardware has this two tiers higher in terms of performance though.

Mine arrived yesterday, looks unused apart from a fingerprint.

How does this compare to my old 7850?

This card is dubbed as matching console both for resolutions and FPS.
The reason it wasn't that well received at launch, was because of the small price disparity between this, and the 470/480.
At this price, this is a good entry level card, with decent capabilities for most new games to match or sometimes exceed the base PS4 and Xbox One.

If you will only game, so no difference between 2 or 4gb.

Good price, great card for esports games not so much for AAA titles

It only discounts the 20% on checkout as well so don't be put off with it showing as £88 in your basket.

Thanks OP. I found scrolling down found cards with only damage to the box while ones nearer the top also had "inperfections" on the card itself. I'm hoping to recoup most of the cost selling my 750ti which has served me well but it's only 2gb and lower specs all round.

The warehouse stock isn't reliably described. I've had 'good' items, described as having small scratches and imperfections, turn up mint. Conversely, I've had 'as-new' products delivered, which are anything but.

Is it worth going for £3 more for like new?

What is the 20% discount for? I looked at a few other cards and the discount didnt apply.
I bought it anyway, was looking for a better card but they we're nearly twice the price. Hopefully i wont notice 5 fps less.
