Have this. Quick charge is not so "Quick" From 0 to 100% my Galaxy S7 Edge takes 3hours and 20 minutes. It shows "Quick charging wirelessly" but when charging with cable, it only takes 2 hours to fully charge. Not that useful..

Wireless charging will never be as fast as wired, but this should be a quicker wireless charge than previous gen wireless chargers... That's the theory anyway....

Ive been after one of these for a decent price for awhile. Looking on Amazon though Id be sceptical that they are selling a genuine Samsung product. Some of the pictures that buyers have posted look scary... hot for the price, but cold incase not a genuine product. Neutral from me sorry.
Amazon looks as though its becoming the new ebay for chargers and electronics, which is a shame on genuine sellers.

As mentioned in the other thread lots of differing chargers and sellers but all reviews in 1 place making it difficult to discern - safe and cheaper for once Bet is Amazon avoid the iffy named sellers.

For me yes £20 is excess but when you have no mobiles with micro USB and C versions this is easier just damn Shame they do not charge my Samsung gear watches

I have the S6 Samsung QI charger and it worked fine with S7 edge and S8+ so I would assume you'll be fine.
One thing to note if it's like the S6 one it doesn't come with a cable or charger (supposed to use your phone one) so you'll need a spare micro usb cable as the new S8 usb c cable won't fit.

Good device but gutted it's reduced in price. Can't win them all. Reliable and works fine with my official slip case. Not as fast as wired cable but plenty fast enough for me.
