I like them, just drop your phone on to charge instead of having to plug in the cable in and it's a stand so my phone is upright on my desk. I know it's not hard to plug your phone in but it just looks better to me.

I knacker usb cables somehow. No matter if I buy cheap or expensive. The ends always fall out or bend within 3-4 months. My wireless charger has paid for itself in cables. XD

Ordered mine, nothing worse than trying to plug the cable into your phone in the dark, also while it does seem like a gimmick I love it on my watch, just drop it on and then leave it until you need it again...

Had this for my old S7 and S6 with a case on it would not Stay in place. Also tend to find to many fakes best to buy Samsung Direct.

These look fake I bought Min via Amazon from Dee Traders was clearly fake and got one from Samsung but as mentioned design is poor

Amazon don't sell fake products, Amazon traders though are a different matter, if you're buying anything where there are fakes available always buy from Amazon direct, as in this deal.

6 hours? S7s and S8s go from empty to full in about 2. :wink:
You can choose normal or fast wireless charging in the options. Fast can get hot but no hotter than cable charging.
I stick mine on over night so by the morning it's long gone on to trickle charging and is not even warm.

Switched from cable charging to wireless when I bought my S7. It's absolutely fantastic, so simple and quick.
I didn't buy the official one, as it just looked cheap and nasty.
I went for this instead, which supports fast charging, and has two LED indicators (on and charging) . Oh, and it's £15.99 delivered, and looks great.

Ahh got it (sorry missed that), will have a punt purely as we now have Samsung handsets with micro USB and USB C which is becoming a pain messing with adapters, still say with a case these chargers don't hold the phone steady and the FAN - just don't put them in your bedroom as the noise.

Sowwy. Really depends on the room and location, mine was smack bang near my head (bedside table), the fan is not on all the time but is very irritating more so as it goes on and off, the led light (red then blue) also does not look much but in a dark bedroom (its bad), i covered mine with blutac, then gave up and returned it to Samsung, that was more down to the charger not keeping my S7E or S6E in a Samsung flip case in place comfortably.

The whole setup is a mess, as so many sellers, so many variants - all in one place, yes the Amazon direct give some assurance, but in reality reading the reviews it is sometimes difficult to ascertain which of the 4-5 products it is referring unless there is a picture or clear mention - case in point many people complain they never got a fast charge or it does not work probably got excited and ordered the wrong item. Lastly clearly some fakes from many sellers i have issues a whileback ordering from Dee Traders, clearly fake when it arrived (i know as i had the original).
