Yes, you need to use a foreign transaction fee free card such as Halifax Clarity card.

Paid via euros as read on here would work out cheaper. Been charged £558 for the phone but another £16.70 foreign transaction fee! Think it would have been better to pay via amazon exchange rate as that was coming up as £562 at the time.

Love the size, very easy to hold. Within 30 mins it made my One plus 3T feel ancient!

You don't need to convert mate just put your UK sim in, select English language and make one phone call. Sorted.

I have exactly the same as you, although mine was in "Shipping Game" on Tuesday. Not sure what it means by shipping game myself.

My experience has been consistent with the live chat the tracking updates are totally random and sporadic?

Interesting my first order S8+ shipped from DE, second one S8 no idea because the first tracking update was within the UK and my third order S8+ appears to be coming from FR, scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

The scheduled delivery window seems to be accurate though. Just hope you don't get a dishonest driver.

Mine was dispatched on the 24th (Wednesday) and is due to arrive on Monday however I've had no tracking update since Wednesday. Just had a live chat with Amazon.it and they said this is normal and there won't be any update until the item lands in the UK. I would have thought it would have done by now if it left Italy on Wednesday.

I bought the Orchid Gray S8+ on the 14th of May. Amazon Italy dispatched on the 20th May with estimated delivery 25th May. It arrived at local depot on the 25th and was out for delivery at 9am. I asked someone to wait for the delivery on this day. At 6:41 the delivery driver updated false tracking saying 'Delivery attempted' which is a lie as someone was in the whole day. Every day since then tracking updates as 'Delay in delivery due to external factors' I have reason to believe the driver stole it however had not heard anything useful back from customer service.

S8 Orchid Gray ordered on 13th - was supposed to be shipped yesterday, no updates since and no attempts to charge my card. They did block the amount on my card once on the 13th when they were supposed to send the phone on the original order that I cancelled (which was before the further price drop) - got that unblocked now :smile: and waiting for them to charge me again and send that phone on...

Dagnammit, I ordered a Black S8+ on 13 May and have just had an email saying its not back in stock until 30 May so wont be dispatched until then. This is after sending me an email on Mon 22 May to say expected delivery was 26-30 May and shipping 23 May. Here's hoping it actually gets sent on 30 May.

It's a normal EU phone so takes a UK sim and the warranty will be the same as LG I would think as I bought an LG from amazon.it a couple of years ago and had to return it for repair due to bootloop. It went back to LG UK. If there is something wrong on delivery or during the Amazon return period it would have to go back to Italy.

Somebody scared me frm going for this deal , saying u need an Italian sim card and warranty is in Italy. Pls advise any truth in this.

As an FYI, fast charging works perfectly fine using a European adapter plug. 0-100% in 1h40min same as with a UK plug.

I looked on my orders and it had the "try again" option but this seems normal as it was on another order I done. I've been on chat with Amazon.it. An interesting option with Google Translate certainly we managed to understand each other and it was confirmed this option is normal and there is no issue with payment. Mine has the 26th-30th and was showing to be shipped 23/05 which was yesterday with no dispatch note and no payment taken. Guy confirmed no issues could be dispatched anything up to 26th or 27th as long as it gets there for the last date on the estimate. He did say that usually it comes before but not always. Worth checking if you are concerned. The chat option is pretty decent even in Italian with Google Translate!

There is no easy way as far as I can tell. You can hit the translate button in the address bar if you're using Chrome.

Ive ordered the s8+ had an email stating the delivery had been brought forward and its been a couple of days since the day it was supposed to be dispatched and nothing. No payment has been taken and on the amazon order it says "try again or change payment".



Switched to a mastercard still the same, still states it will be dispatched today and be here by 29th -31st May but i will keep an eye out.

I recommend you go to your account asap and quickly change the payment method to a card that works, or risk being bumped to the back of the line (which you may be already after the first attempt was declined).

How did you find out they were having issues, have they been contacting you to advise? There is always the option to change payment method I think?

I am having real difficulty with them taking payment from my barclaycard and barclays are saying its fine on their end?

My friend who ordered S8+ on 13th May and Amazon sent her an email to update delivery dates to be estimated 24 - 26th May and it arrived on 21st May!

I'm exactly the same position, other than mine is saying 1st to 22nd of June, no update since the original order.

I have that combo on the S7 Edge. Both are awesome on their own. just a mess when combined. Had to 'modify' the screen protector to make it work with the case. Best to get a Spigen screen protector to be sure. Great cases mind. and the Yootech screen protector kit is cool.

I think I've got it sorted pretty well yeah, have only had it on for 24 hours tho. But Its not peeling off in any significant way, just very slightly at the corners. With this screen protector it says you can wet the peeling edges and adhere them again, if it was a problem.
