Heat for price.
I got the game yesterday and spend ages trying to get connected to a server.
There is plenty of bugs.
Eventually I read on the forums you can keep alt tabbing and the game will load ( yes it works ).
Graphics were pretty dated and team killing all over the place.

Hmm depends on why you liked them. The guns handle more like Rainbow Six where they feel pretty weighty with a fair amount of recoil, but gameplay plays more like Rush scale on Battlefield where it's a lot more fast paced, and combat is usually <100m. Doesn't mean it's like COD where you run around constantly though due to both stamina and the fact you make an easy target
Most of the maps are supremacy though, either capture the points in sequential order or hold as many points as possible to accumulate map points to win. Means there's a certain amount of openness in how you attack caps
The teams are asymmetrical which makes it interesting. Americans have M16s, pump action shotguns, nade launchers, etc whilst Vietkong have Ak47s, RPGs, double barrel shotgun, etc. The asymmetry makes it interesting at least
The pc fanbase will be fine. The previous games Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm 1 came out years ago and still have a large enough community for there to be several full 64 player servers at almost all times
So it kind of depends on whether or not you like the slightly fast paced, yet methodical action with respawns and kind of realistic weapons.

In 'Battlefield 1', the average opening price of the game was £39.99. In 'COD: World at War' it was £29.99. In 'Made up Korean War game' it was £19.99.
In 'Rising Storm: Vietnam' it is £9.99. N-n-n-n-nine ninety-nine.
I didn't even know what was going on:confused:

It sits between ARMA and CoD into terms of realism, probably a bit more realistic than Battlefield apart from the terrain destruction.
Combat is pretty rough, you can snipe and be sniped by enemies up to 180m away and bullets tend to kill people in around 3 shots, one if it's a headshot. That's why making tactical use of smoke and cover makes it more important. The commanders use of artillery strikes also makes it more intense, they have a pretty loud realistic sound and a dramatic effect on your screen
Personally I really like the game, but it depends on how realistic you like your games

I'm a Arma/Battlefield/Rainbow Six Siege fan, not keen on COD. Reckon I'd like this? Also, do you think the playerbase will be ok on PC?
Thank you!

Is this worth it? Didn't have time to play the beta.

I'm kind of unable to find reviews of the beta to inspire me to buy
