Bargain, I have a set of these in my Bedroom with a Justboom Amp Zero. It's amazing!

Having owned both, the 2010i will make an excellent rear speaker, but its a night and day difference between the 2020i and 2010i as a main speaker. Also the 2020i is VERY deep for that size speaker as you know. The 2010i is MUCH smaller and a perfect size.

Sorry to go off topic but i scored the Denon 2300 the other day for £349 with the 6 years warranty for nothing, i called up and told them that Peter Tyson are selling it for the same price with a 3 year warranty included and he gave me the 6 years warranty to beat the offer. So if your in the market its worth a try.

Showing as £79 now. Shame they're rear ported because I'm looking for a pair of surround speakers.

Could anyone recommend a decent but not expensive amp to go with these? I have never owned a pair of speakers that would require an amp, so I'm completely new to this. Thanks!

I use something called PiCorePlayer, there are loads of bits of software out there, Rune, Max2Play, Volumio, Moode and others.

I have a Daphile server running for ripping my media and also as a Logitech Squeezebox Server, so I just add "Squeezelite" Players to it, like PiCorePlayer.

My Uncle once owned a pair of these and I had the pleasure of listening to them. Sadly at the age of 13 I was probably a bit too young to appreciate what I was hearing! They still sounded sodding good, tho - way better than my cheap (not cheap - see my other thread) kef k160s :innocent:
