Bottom line between these two platforms is that xbox online is better than PS4 but it shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as PS4 when it comes to quality and range of games. Especially the exclusives. I have both so not trolling. Cross platform releases I get on xbox if they have multiplayer features. For everything else PS4.

I see the Xbox Live is better than PSN myth is still doing the rounds. It's not 2011 anymore folks. I've had a PS4 since launch and bar one Xmas a couple of years ago I've not had one single problem.
When it comes to choosing a system just think about what kind of genres you enjoy most. PS4 generally has something for everyone whilst the Xbox is more a console you get if you plan to play the same franchises again and again (Forza, Gears, Halo etc). Also, if you're into online games just see where your friends are playing. If you want to play with them and the majority are on PS4 then it'll make no sense buying an Xbox.

If your not sure then wait for the E3 show in about 5 weeks, you will see what new games are due out this year and in the future on both machines.
By the way I don't think anyone has told you yet that Tomb Raider is out on both console's

If you got a PC then you can get most xb1 exclusives on there. I sold my Xbox when horizon came to windows 10, only reason I got it!

Those are not even the best ones. This year we got complete masterpieces with Nioh, Persona 5, Horizon, Nier Automata, Yakuza 0 etc

Always been an Xbox fan due to a better OS and online experience, bought a PS4 just for Uncharted 4 when it came out
I think what sealed the Xbox One's fate for me was once F1 2016 came out and I just couldn't stand the abysmal frame rates any longer.
I was going to buy a new family PC anyway as ours was dying, I added console money on top of what one usually would've cost anyway and ended up with a machine with better graphics and smooth 60fps
My point is you don't have to spend thousands to be a part of the master race :P

Makes me laugh when reading xbox fans commenting that range of games is PS4's only positive when comparing both consoles! Lol
You cheeky monkeys!

Tesco Direct have a deal on the 1tb Slim that's shipping just now. There's a code for £20 off the console, bringing it to £229.99. You can stack promotional offers and also pick either Horizon: Zero Dawn or Uncharted 4 for free with it, bundle total £229.99 as well. If you prefer one of those games to the extra controller....
Also if you have any clubcard vouchers pending you can apply those as well.

Got to say, PS4 doesn't sniff Xbox when comparing Xbox Live VS PSN. On the other hand, some beasty PS4 exclusives were enough to make me buy one.

Don't you'll get the pc fanboys all stirred up and they'll be along soon telling us how superior their £5k machine is to a £350 console.

Which was a bizarre comment in itself since the latest tomb raider was an Xbox exclusive for a year.

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments.
I used to have a 360 and much prefer the Xbox one controller and UI. but PS4 seems to have more games with single player campaigns -unchartered, last of us, zero horizon dawn etc.
I don't really play online as I'm not that great a gamer and get killed asap lol
Yeah that's a great idea about waiting 5 weeks for the E3 event. I really hope xbox comes out with something special and a good games line up.
