Budget games at budget prices. So what's so exciting about Knack 2? Well naff all if I'm honest. I suppose the highlight of its release could be the long awaited arrival of Knack to the Instant Game Collection.
I want it on PS+, you want it on PS+. Actually, nobody really wants it on PS+. That said, if it does eventually happen. We'll be able to spend the next 4 years bitching about getting Knack 2 on PS+.
Direction, that's what we need as gamers.
Be aware, 365Games take payment on order. Which, for a game set to release in Q3/Q4 of 2017, may not be ideal.
As a backup, Amazon have it listed for £29.99

Extremely briefly. I played Shadowfall for a lot longer. It wasn't my kind of game to be honest, Bure. But, we already know we have different tastes :stuck_out_tongue:
I'm only joking about Knack mate, before you hammer me

I know you're joking mate :stuck_out_tongue:
I was just going to recommend trying it if you hadn't already... I actually thought it was a pretty decent and fun game when you go in with zero expectations
RotTR however is fantastic!

Sounds good to me
But to be honest not even I have any expectations for that. I think it'll be the same addictive crap as the first one that I can't help but play non stop  I can't even bring myself to look at my total hours in D1

Im looking forward to Knack 2. I'm sure those that bought Knack like me 100% don't want it to ever come to Plus...
I'd also recommend the first game to anyone on PS4, at the super cheap prices it's available at these days.
Knack is not the easy kids game people who haven't played it like to make it out to be either. Well over 30 hours to plat with some challenge to be found on very hard mode. Don't be fooled

I actually enjoyed knack... Wasn't all that bad really... Especially for how cheap it was (about £4 used).
Paid more for much worse games that still get hype

I love Knack, was a big platformer fan in the original psx and nintendo64 era. Also the story doesn't take itself too seriously which is cool. To me it feels like Knack would've been more popular as a WiiU game, as modern day xbox/ps players don't even know what platformers are.

To be fair, from the short footage we've seen of the sequel it looks to massively improve on the first one. And previews have noted how much an improvement it is. Notably, how much more platforming there now is. The first one gave the false impression of being a platformer when in reality it was more like a hardcore LEGO game, or a LEGO God of War if you will. Now, it seems the sequel moves closer to Crash-like platforming to mix up the more complex fighting system. The Knack 2 trailer alone showed off more platforming than I can recall there being throughout the first game.
But yeah, a sequel was surprising when they announced it at PSX. Then again, the first one sold really well and so using that as a base I guess Sony thought this time they could give the IP justice, not least because it won't suffer from being rushed to meet launch day.
I hope it fares well and thus sells well. This along with the success of R&C reboot will hopefully convince Sony to go all out again on the 3D platforming front. And if Locoroco remaster succeeds, hopefully go all out on the 2D platforming front as well. We need more of this sort and not just post-apoc open world stuff.

We all have a problem  It's not a crap game I agree, there's nothing more fun in gaming for me than **** about in a raid or crucible with your mates.
What's crap is the delivery of content and the stupid 'balancing' updates that just drain the enjoyment out of it. I don't see that changing for the second game.

Knack 1 wasn't great but decent for a brand new IP at a new console launch, this sequel has potential to improve over many aspects over the first etc

I found it fun but not challenging. My old retired Dad loves playing it lol. I thought it was ok 2 player. Hope this one is better.
