Yeah, it absolutely reminds me of Dead Space. Not as scary but it's certainly a jumpy game. Ammo is limited and you've got to be quiet. Kinda reminds me a bit of Alien Isolation too but with more enemies that you can actually kill. Not that it's up at the dizzying heights of Alien Isolation, that game was tremendous!

IMO it plays horribly and looks pretty bad on the consoles, but on PC it's a different game.
Controls and graphics are great, the story isn't mind blowing but it's a fun and involving sci-fi survival-ish horror-ish game. Basically Deus Ex plus Half Life plus Bioshock.

Is it as bad as the demo? If so I'll pass

Demo didn't show case the game very well.
The game is a grower, getting more complex as it goes and introducing a lot of new elements. The start does a poor job of demonstrating that.

Very much enjoying this at the moment, must finish it tonight and get it for sale before it loses all value.

I did that with Rainbow Six, bought it brand new, then the price was dropping really quickly(which was a shame) I sold it for £16 I think, then the bloody price went up lol. And no comment about Evolve, that game certainly taught me a lesson the hard way.

£15 off in less than 2 weeks of release, physical game prices are a joke. Apart from Nintendo games I have no idea why anyone buys (including myself) PS or XBox games within the 1st few weeks due to price drops. It really does annoy me, I either have a point or I'm a tight a*se, you decide

'Tis the way with most single player games.
If you buy early, play it through and trade it in quickly. If you can't commit to playing it through quickly, wait for it to drop.

£25 on PC with the sound track, steelbook and pre order bonuses.
Remember, many of you will have a £5 off if you spend over £50 code from April. Use this + Topcashback and you can basically get this for £20.

That code only works on a 50 quid spend btw.

I personally didn't enjoy this, I found the combat too slow and sluggish when fighting these fast alien dudes!

Good price, but I see this suffering with the same treatment Doom had :smirk:

because you can buy them, complete them then sell them whilst they still have their resell value. Then if you feel like playing through it again 6 months a year down the line itll be £15/10 quid

Amazing the drop in price for what I consider a great game that I had a lot of fun with.
I had pre-ordered for £35 with Amazon and was pretty happy with that, however when I payed the demo I did consider cancelling as it didnt really 'grab' me. I'm glad I didn't though as the game gets much better with the areas opening up in almost a Metroid-y way. The physics and game engines are superb and I loved just wandering about exploring and not really rushing to do the objectives. It does sag a little by the end but most games do in that regard.
Def worth a play and at least an 8/10 for me. Heat.

Should have traded it in online with the 10 day grace period, could easily win a game within the week and send it off.

Didn't really like the demo so assume I wouldn't like the full game. Good price though. Heat added.

Good as the demo is (personal opinion, of course), it only scratches the surface of what's in the full game - I'd encourage you not to dismiss it.

I thought the same and almost cancelled my pre-order after playing the demo, but I'm so glad I didn't as this is easily my favourite game of the year. At this price I would say its well worth it, but just my opinion of course

It's really dull. You fire what feels like a popcorn maker, the graphics are lacklustre and the action is almost non existent. Then inventory system is cluttered and over complicated. There really is very little to recommend.

so what's the point of having a steelbook case as well as a normal one as you'll be using only one for the disk?
