Decent saving for those who may already have the camera or don't want the Aim controller bundle for Farpoint.

I have the Oculus Rift with touch controllers and 3 sensors and even with that gear, I'm still getting the PSVR! I love the old technology behind the PSVR and both VR systems shine in their own areas. Oculus is amazing for everything. I never leave Oculus bored! PSVR to me, has a better screen for watching movies etc in. I never really have to adjust the lens's on it and the games are equally as fun IF, you're using it on the main TV with your friends and family. I wouldn't use the PSVR if I was alone I don't think but it's an amazing piece of kit! My 4 year old is an expert at Oculus and his geology and anatomy programs but he loves playing his aunties PSVR for a number of reasons. My Sweet spot is also around £200 for me to bite the bullet on it and that goes for Nintendo Switch too as soon as Xenoblade 2 is available.

Just the way Game describe new products. Don't worry, it will be brand new when you receive it. It's mostly to cover their backsides for when they send you store stock that has been on the shelves that they broke the shrinkwrap on. (That only happens on older, low stock titles I should add mind.)

Does anyone know why the items are described as 'mint' rather than new?

Got this in email today - PlayStation VR with VR Camera and Farpoint £379.99 - if you need the camera, not sure if it is a good price or not
I'd like to use Game Wallet credit but the website won't allow me to use this for a pre-order. Does anyobe know if this is available instore? Thanks

how many motion controllers do you need for psvr? 1 or 2? I have an old one from when I had PS M & sharpshooter but think I read somewhere that some games need 2 motion controllers? cheers.

Some need 2 move controllers (the ones with the glowing balls on top) but a lot of games don't require the move controllers.

Really want farpoint.. but can't justify £69 for 4 hours of gameplay.
Pretty much every title has gone 50% quickly so will wait..hopefully won't be a shortage of the aim thingy.

There are other games that the controller will work with though.
I used to sit with a 'Hulk Rules' foam finger on when I watched the wrestling. In comparison, this is Prada, Deeky

I tried a demo in my local Game (£5 for 10 minutes or so). I tried the deep sea game where you're in cage, it's pretty cool but the textures were a bit blurry. Then I tried DriveClub VR, which is strangely blurry as well and made me ill straight away so I could only play for a couple of minutes (plus I finally got to 1st place and then stacked it in a corner, nice excuse for me to stop there).
PSVR was actually a bit disappointing for me because of how blurry and undefined the textures are, but this is the price to pay for a, er, low priced VR system. VR in general is pretty awesome. If you can handle the motion sickness, please buy to support the tech so that it'll be invested in and better tech released in the future (which should also bring the price down too).

They advise using the VR in small periods to start with. I did find some games made me feel rough.

I had to sell mine as I felt extremely sick playing the resident evil demo. It really is an awsome experience, but the sickness was too much for me.

I played Far Point at a PS VR event and I have to admit it wasn't great, I told the guy at the stand that the gun looked like a handicap rail lol he wasn't to amused... but I do admit the gun felt solid and it tracked in game perfectly, the game did look pants but it was early build and it made me feel pretty sick after which lasted for a few hours.

Ooooo an AAA VR bundle? Heat added  Don't understand who will want to play Farpoint with a DS4 though. Not seen Aim for sale alone in this country yet.
Be quick though, reckon it will drop like a stone in value. Many people are going to try to trade so they can re-buy digital.

To be fair I've already got a camera and Resident Evil so works out about £370 including Farpoint with the gun for me. Which isn't great considering Solus PSVR units can be had for around £290 new

Could maybe trade in Farpoint to Game/CEX and then purchase the gun bundle?
I imagine you'll get at least £30 for Farpoint next week so if you need the camera too (£38 at Amazon but may be available cheaper) then the cost breakdown would be:
Playstation VR Headset £289.99
Camera £38
Farpoint £69.85 (Thanks Buzz )
Resident Evil 7 £30
Total £427.84
Still gives a very decent saving on the headset.

To be honest, this is better value than the free camera bundle too. The camera is available for £38 at Amazon currently so will total £388 with both these games.
