Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback. Starting with nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the lone survivor. I've been playing this for a couple of months now and it is an awesome game, really tense at times.
Still in Early Access so expect bugs, but it gets updated regularly and the developers reckon it will be a full release after 6 months of EA.
Never had any issues with CDKeys either and have bought lots from the site.

The aim of the game is to be the last one alive, by any means necessary.
And since the final circles are often in an open field somewhere not much camping really occurs.
Solo is a much different game to play than in Duo or Squad, you should try it without the back up of your teammate(s).

I would recommend PUBG, it's a better combat system. Similar to ArmA, so the gunfights are quite gritty and realistic. H1Z1 is the Arcade version of PUBG.

PUBG and TW3 are 2 totally different games.. Play PUBG for a blast then dive into TW3 for some solo play.

There's still lag at the moment, it varies from match to match, one match might be perfect, and the next might be an absolute desync s*** fest, however the PUBG team has said they will be releasing a big patch in June which will solely focus on the servers and lag, so I am looking forward to that.

When it gets a little boring try playing hide and seek. The Objective is to get to the final circle, and potentially win, without picking up a weapon.
Surprisingly fun, and its amazing how many people you could kill when your bush wookie-ing it up.

Wouldn't say soon, the game isn't known for optimisation at the moment, it runs quite bad even on a high end PC with constant stutters, recent patch did help however the problem still persists for a game that doesn't look 'that amazing'. A 100 man server on a map that's as big as about 2x GTA V's map, with thousands of loot being spawned on the server.. just can't see it coming to console any time soon until they optimise the hell out of it. Do hope it arrives on console at some point though, have the PC version but wouldn't mind playing with console friends at some point.

Bought this a month ago, haven't stopped playing, has taken all my time and it's the only thing I'm playing at the moment, such a good game, surprising that it's an early access game, other ea games should learn from this one. There's a solo mode where you play on your own, duo for a 2 man team against 49 other 2 man teams, and squads for a 4 man team against 24 other 4 man teams. All the modes are very fun, and very unique, they change up the style of play quite a bit so there's a lot of variety in the game. There's also monthly patches that add a lot, and weekly patches that fix a few things here and there. At the moment the ONLY downside is the servers, due to the high traffic, the EU servers suck, simple as, BUT Player Unknown has said that the next patch due in June is fully focusing on server stability, so we should have a slightly better user experience next month, looking forward to it, if you want to play with someone, send me a PM, I'll give you my Steam ID :smiley:

Early access is great as long as Valve police it right.
Really want to get this but I'm not sure if my HD7950 will run it (with the game being very unoptimised at the minute). It's paired with a i7 2600k at 4.8ghz so the CPU should be ok. Anyone running this on a 7950/70?

Game is terrible and slow paced. Awful interface and very glitchy, they seem to be causing more problems than solving. Go for a game like H1Z1 with more speed, momentum and violence. (Well done if you got the reference).

Good game, devs seem reasonably on the ball, but the servers are pretty ropey right now. There's a patch coming in a months time that will hopefully improve them.

That was my initial thoughts too, with the likes of DayZ etc but I think this one will actually get a proper release tbf tho. The developers are saying it will only be in Early Access for 6 months and are looking at getting it out on consoles too.

completely wrong, early access is a great initiative. Developer makes money back during development so as not to go bust. The massive player base helps to weed out bugs and test the game/servers before game is released.
Smaller developers don't have the money to pay for large in house testing.
haha, ive managed about 15 wins all in now, played with a mate last night, his 1st ever game and we won on squads. There was another guy in the discord who was a few minutes late in joining us, so he missed out on his 1st win

You can exit to the lobby and start another match when you die. Its more of a Survival / Shooter Looter / Last Man Standing Battle Royale game rather than search and destroy.

yeah solo is definitely a survival game. camping is completely legit in this game in solo. single spawn and ever decreasing map makes it a completely different tactic than other games. It's still legit in duo and squads but having revive and support doesn't mean it's as critical.
can't wait for hardcore mode though: 1st person only, max foliage and 200% damage would be great

I was buzzing after I got my Chicken Dinner... Only managed 2 Solo wins and 1 Duo so far though... A lot of luck with the circles and loot rather than skill on my part!! :laughing:
And its probably the most intense and nerve racking game I have played... Camped in a toilet, with a shotgun pointed at the door, listening to the footsteps getting closer and closer...
