I find the philips quicker and makes the food crispier compared to Tefal - I got my philips for £49 ages ago and my boyfriend was impressed so he bought a Tefal thinking if he spent more it would be better but he prefers mine

Bought the black one last summer for about £52 (there was an Amazon promotion on). We use it quite a lot so feel content paying that (was unsure at the time). Would prefer larger capacity but didn't want to pay more at the time.

Best gadget we have ever bought bar none. Use this all the time for anything from hand cut chips to samosas to fish fingers to salmon in foil. We paid around £70 so this is a decent price.

I've purchased an Tefal actifry Family and have never looked back, due to the larger capacity. I think the Philips is worth it around the £50 mark.

All the tefal air fryers came top in the WHICH magazine test review with the Phillips one coming in about sixth place or so

I had an Actifry, & used it occasionally until it went 'BANG' & expired. Replaced it with the Airfryer, which is in daily use. Much prefer the Philips over the Tefal in terms of versatility, & flavour & texture of cooked food.

I don't expect more than a years service from the Tefal, just the portion size is not big enough for a family size in the Philips... you know sometimes I like throwing in a fish finger or two at the same time, yes the chips smell a bit fishy

I've had 2½ years service from the Airfryer so far. Agreed that it's capacity is too small for a family. I can do steak & chips for myself, but any extra veg to complete the meal has to be cooked in a separate device.

similar happened with mine. just out of warranty the paddle broke. with this following on from the tefal iron which spat rust out on my clothes I vowed last tefal product! Quality of Philips is far superior.
