Must resist and wait until they launch the GOTY with DLC. If they ever do.

It is a bit odd that they haven't even announced that yet - Fallout 3's GOTY edition came out one year after the base game, and New Vegas Ultimate Edition came out about 16 months after its base game (just for some comparable examples) so this seems a bit overdue. It might be part of their E3 presentation in a couple of weeks...

Around the same price for a physical copy @ GAME.

I hope so or maybe with the season pass available they will not provide us with a GOTY version.

What a game - P.S. Don't forget that Fallout Shelter is FREE on steam!

I think the question of whether or not to do a GOTY edition must come down to whether or not the publisher wants to put out another retail release, as it will mean a new packaging design and another manufacturing run of the discs and cases, and that must be becoming rarer in this increasingly digital age so, yeah, they might just leave it, expecting people to just buy the season pass, especially as a lot of GOTY editions tend to just be original disc + DLC code anyway.

Anyone know if there's a program that can edit a character's inventory loadout and which quests have been completed? I started out on PS4 and love my character to bits, so I'd like to transfer her over to PC and continue there. You could used to transfer Skyrim saves from console to PC but I don't think it works for Fallout 4.

PS4 save files are encrypted so that won't be possible sadly.

The same site is also selling the game's season pass at a nicely discounted price.

I personally wouldn't pay £11 for it. At first, you become hooked as the story is interesting and unique. However, you then realise 20 hours in that you think the game is boring. The story is seriously lacking comparing to previous games such as 3 and New Vegas.

Good game. Also check out the Android app (possibly iPhone/Windows), it turns your smartphone into a Pipboy!
Only problem is it hammers your battery. But one of the best uses of second screen gaming I've seen so far.

Tried this on the free weekend and it wouldn't even start. Looking online it seems it is in issue for a lot of people and has been for a while. Still no fix.

Good price for a great game. On PC, if your into modding the CK/Nexusmods allows a vast amount of flexibility and imagination to make the game your own, get the SP to expand it even further. Only boring if you have double figure IQ

Fallout 3 is a superior game in many ways.
Fallout 4 is a 'good' game. Nothing special. Play 3 first though - the atmosphere is slightly different - F4 does retain that but loses it with a sub-par plot that is barely stitched together at times.
Could have done with a few more years in development or a completely different storyline as I feel some aspects are just completely wasted.
Great price though for those that haven't already dived in head-first.

This man lies, Fallout 4 is awesome. Fallout 3 is just better written that's all but running Fallout 3 on a modern PC can be slightly awkward anyway. For under £15, it's worth picking both up IMHO.

It's worth it at this price, but it's not exactly a great Fallout game. It's barely even an RPG at this point.
Plus the graphics are pony when compared to others that came out at the same time.
I've put around 200 hours into this on PC and just find it a bit of a chore to play compared to the others.

The previous 3D Fallout games plus Skyrim all had issues with combat so Bethesda borrowed a lot from modern FPS games and fixed that It is more limited in the options that you can take than Fallout 3 for sure but I feel like they were going for more of a Mass Effect vibe with this one and it mostly worked.
A lot of people complained about the graphics but I honestly didn't think they were all that bad. It was a couple of years ago and the only games that came out around that time and looked considerably better IMO were The Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider and both of those games work very, very differently to Fallout.
