Literally just looking at these models as a present for my daughter. I started looking at the TZ60 then thought the TZ70 would be better as it has the same size sensor but fewer pixels (but loses the GPS coordinates). As of this morning, I was thinking the TZ80 might be better still and it has the 5 yr warranty if registered before end of May - but still doing my research.
£200 is a good price for this.

The TZ70 does not offer GPS at all (was a dealbreaker for me, pity as it's a handsome camera)
Knowing where holiday snaps were taken when reviewing them years later is a must in my family.
Bought my TZ60 at JL due to an earlier HUKD deal. The wifi function works well for grabbing zoom photos onto phone on the go, to include in social media messages.
got further £16 off by using gift card bought from the work place.. had my eyes peeled on this for 2 weeks. thanks

DP Reviews site is most useful IMHO, but they don't do a full review on this camera. If you sift through the site you'll get comparisons to similar cameras and user reviews.
Jessops - £219 then £20 off with panadiscount and 20 6x4 prints if anyone prefers Jessops.

I have had one. Great all round camera. Great zoom. Not the brightest lens but good IS and software still give lowlight results. The superzoom Panasonics really hold their price and I think have been slowly going up in price for the new ones.
Totally recommend one of these at this price.
HOT DEAL!!! bought mine on Saturday from John Lewis for £219, wonder if I can get them to match...

I would think it depends on whether the physical stores would apply the PANA20 discount.
Good luck!
