Depends on how disciplined you are with a stick type toothbrush. These require much less effort and likely do a better job for most people. I use both to be sure, electric at night, stick in the morning and other times.
This seems to be a 'limited edition' of the base model, which is really all you need. The more expensive ones up the range just have more and more pulsing modes and gimmicks which you'll never use in practice.
You can usually pick these up on the high street for around £25 at Christmas, there's always a price war then.
