Richer sounds price matched Hughes so I got an E6 for 1759 plus another 2% cashback from quidco in store
Won't unbox it until my house is all done and decorated - pretty frustrated with it being there. Bit of a panic buy as the E's seem to be in short supply now

Shame the 65" are still so expensive. If they were 1k cheaper it would be a no brainier.
65e is around 3.1k and the 65g around 3.8k
Could prob handle around 2k on a Tv, but to get a 55 when I already have a 51 Plasma, would prob not be worth the spend.

The website states free 5 year guarantee with paperwork provided 8 -10 weeks after delivery.
I've saved the webpage as evidence just in case.

Can you confirm it is 5 years guarantee ?

Ordered from Hughes Direct using Quidco (now tracked), used Take40 code and it comes in at £1721.47. Bargain.

This TV is £40 cheaper online at Hughes and available for delivery, use code 'Take40'. The page says it includes a 5 year guarantee although in the basket just says standard manufacturers warranty, would clarify which first if you go ahead with the purchase.
I had to prove that I had a reservation for my local Currys store but once proof given it was no problem.

Was it difficult getting RS to price match. When I rang they would only price match if curry's had stock and was nearby

Prob go for the 65. Just nowhere really to put the 51 plasma and resale on tv's aint great.
Bedroom has 42 sony but jist fits into the gap/sort of alcove.
May get the 65e (3k) or the 65g for (3.5k) not sure i want the C and the curved screen.
Can afford it, but wouldnt brag to anyone cos a lot of money. Prob wouldnt even tell the mrs the true cost.
Though 51 is sat on a wooden coffee table and hangs over each edge by 5cm. This looks like its base is the full width of the screen so may even need a new stand.
Are they light? And how much is the wobble on them?
Mrs likes to jump up n down to fitness tv n this one wobbles too n frow on stand.
Was wanting to go super big but waaay to expensive above 65.
But like you say? These will prob not drop much as eceryone who wants 3D will prob rush to exhaust the stock. Arghhh the temptation is strong on this one lol

So tempted by the 65 just wish the price would drop a little.
Is there a big enough increase from 51 to 65? I sit around 10ft away from Tv and have to sit in around 4ft away for PS4 as writing too small for my eyes.
It's a lot of cash, but interested in 3D and currently have a 51 Plasma, so hopefully would be worth the outlay.
Tempted to either buy now before stock goes or wait another few years as 2017 has no 3D

Seriously, just buy now. Don't chance 3D coming back in a few years time as it may not. Take the example of the Fuji W3 3D camera. Day 1, £440, 2 years later, £100, today back up to its original price. In 2 years time it will be even more £.
I'm thinking of buying a second C6 to replace the first when it packs in......

Guessing that will be a feature for the 2018 models when new HDMI standards start creeping in.
Loving the 2016 B6V though, fantastic TV.

Sound bar, better CPU, 3D support, (Best on any TV,) better remote control. I'd pay the £200 difference for the 3D alone.
If you can get one for this price, its a total, "no brainer."
