For those who already have a Chromecast who are getting this deal, consider getting this 3 month £5 deal before using the 6 month pass that you get here. Once you've entered a valid 6 month pass you cannot use any other offer until 1 month before the pass expires.

I'm not saying that they won't re-activate a pass after 12 months, but as far as I can tell, there is the possibility they might not. Paraphrasing their terms and conditions, all passes can expire, (even those bought on their own website and not yet used.)
The Expiry Date question has been asked a few times over the years, on the Now TV Forums. In this post from Jan 2017, the Now TV Moderator states... "If purchased from an official retailer (such as Tesco, Asda, Dixons or John Lewis - there are many more) the vouchers within a NOW TV Box bundle should be eligible for a year after purchase. This is also the case for many gift cards which can also be purchased in stores.
If you're concerned about the eligibility of a specific code, our live chat or email team can check any individual voucher for you."

Thanks op, I've been waiting for another deal like this since my film subscription ran out a fee weeks ago. I brought 3, so that's us sorted for a year. Argos also gave me a £5 voucher off my next shop for spending over £50.

They could, but not very good customer relations and the buyer ditching NowTV in a huff. Wouldn't be worth it. Depends how far outside the 12 months when you try to reactivate it. Don't take the p*ss I guess would be the general rule of thumb.

I have had one reactivated over a year after purchase, they just checked it had not been used before they do it immediately on "chat".

To be honest, the boxes aren't great- they can be a bit slow, and the remotes are dodgy once you're a few metres away from the box
Newer LG and Samsung TVs have their own NOWTV (and Plex) apps which work brilliantly from your normal remote.
This deal is really about getting Sky entertainment for £3.33 a month - a steal.
Cooltide to mOELNADLER

I think you've misunderstood. What we mean by "stacking" here, is the ability to use two different entertainment deals concurrently, not sequentially. E.g. If you've 2 vouchers, (one for £10 off and another for 20% off), if you can use them together to get an even better deal for a single purchase, that is "stacking". If you can only use them on different purchases, that's not "stacking". You can't "stack" Now TV entertainment deals.
In my case, I'm 2 months into a 6 month entertainment pass. I've a Chromecast, and I really want the excellent £5 for 3 months entertainment deal. But frustratingly I can't "stack it" over my existing pass, (as I'm not in the final month of my 6 month pass).
However, you can stack movie, sports or kids deals over an entertainment deal, should you want to.
Just as a heads up for Now TV newbies, keep your purchase receipt if you buy multiple boxes at any one time. The 6 month passes that I've got with previous deals, have all had an expiry date on them. You don't know how long these boxes have been sitting in an Argos warehouse. If a pass expires while you're keeping it in reserve, then contact Now TV customer services, and they should re-activate it, providing you're within one year of the date you bought it.
h0m3brew3r
31 May 17#85
You can stack if you buy another one and stick it in a cupboard until December
Cooltide
26 May 171#83
You can't stack straight away, only in the final month of an existing "contract". Within the final (3rd) month of the chrome deal, login to your now tv account and then enter the code number that you get in the box with this offer. That will give you 3 months plus 6 months for a total outlay of £24.99. Near the end of the 6 month pass either keep your eyes peeled for further now TV offers or cancel your subscription to avoid paying full whack, and pick up a deal when you next need one.

They haven't really explained it well there. With Now TV you can register up to 4 devices on one account, and they can be a mixture of these boxes or laptop or games console. So you could give a box each to three friends but that wouldn't work well as you can only use a maximum of two at any one time.

Someone suggested that it was just catchup for american series and as their tv season has just ended many of them will be removed now till next year.

Monitor ebay for the sports pass deals and often when you go to cancel your sports pass sky will offer you a retention deal on the website (not guaranteed though).
Sports is by far the most expensive part though but still far cheaper than having sky as I only get the sports passes when there are games I want to watch and the entertainment is miles cheaper than traditional sky through now tv as per deals like this.
