Not sure discount code works on the new items but definitely cheapest price I can see.

You might want to keep clear of the Xbox Elite controller deals then, they will really frazzle your mind!

This is a disgusting state of affair if a controller is getting heat at £55.
May be the cheapest and no disrespect to the OP for finding this, good job as some people will need this for themselves or their kids BUT looking back when we were young £15-£30 was the price range we would go to ...
its not the way of the times, its the companies and Execs looking at the games market and feeling how to rip off the consumers to the last penny, this is why i stopped purchasing most stuff now to do with accessories, they are a rip off and once people understand and vote with their wallets the prices will remain lower.
plus its nintendo, Seriously, why do they feel that everything needs to be stupid expensive ALL the time.
Sorry auto-correct, meant to say : good deal OP, nice find

Im not sure we can compare modern controllers to the £15 Megadrive or SNES pads used to cost 25 years ago. plus, you know, inflation.

I distinctly remember the DualShock 4 - with its 5 hour battery life, peeling analog sticks and squeaky triggers - being £54.99 upon release.
This thing has HD rumble, gyro controls, NFC/amiibo functionality, a 50 hour battery life and a really nice build quality. What's the problem?

Has anyone had their order confirmed yet? Mine still says pending - not sure how long grainger games normally take to process orders.... probably just me being impatient!

..for a Nintendo peripheral maybe, but Nintendo doesn't exist in a vacuum. £55 for a PS4 or XB1 controller wouldn't be a good deal, so I don't regard £55 for this as a good deal, cheapest or not.

Total bargain, I paid £60 and initially thought it was overpriced until I opened the box.
The design is very good and it has a very premium feel to it. Playing BOTW and MK8 is a real pleasure and so much better than the joycons.
The one thing that seals the deal is HD rumble. I can't begin to explain how much better this is than traditional rumble. I was sceptical at first but after playing tumbleweed.. I'm 100% on board. Trust me £55 is cheap, ignore the haters.

For anyone who bought anything from GAME last month, the £5 voucher also makes this controller £55. The added advantage is you can use any credit you have already on your account.

Were you that kid who when you went round to their house you had to use some nasty £10 controller?

£35 if you setup a new Very.co.uk account and use the discount code, pay it off straight away. Got myself 2 controllers if I decided to buy Street Fighter.

I think we can safely ignore the people who don't know how much premium controllers cost or why, because they've probably never used one. Some people are happy with a wired Afterglow or a second hand madcatz, it's a personal choice. Excellent reviews for this, and I have the Elite, which was about 100, and also a brilliant piece of kit.

It's a lovely Controller, one of the best I've ever used and I voted hot because it's the best price around but it's not exactly cheap is it....

Personally not knocking the price of the elite ones, don't own one but heard good things. But also, in fairness, the pro controller for the switch is bloody good as well! Really does feel good. I didn't pay full wack for mine so not sure if I'd pay that price..

In fairness, they make every other controller feel like a toy.
