O2 is working to try and reduce waste. And as 70% of people already have a USB charger at home, we've decided to not include one with your phone. If you do need a charger you can add one after choosing your tariff. If you’re buying an iPhone, you’ll get a USB charger and sim pin, but you won’t get headphones or a wall plug. O2 does not make money from selling the charger separately.

it was about a year ago I got it from ebay..there was a 30 quid off if you used the mobile app and the phone was about 65...i think this for 69 is a better buy really unless you have a concession/

just select classic PAYG, it doesn't require you to buy it.

My son came home having lost his G4 today - though i think it was taken from his pocket when we were out shopping - so this thread just saved me a lot of £.
Just need to unlock it now for ID Mobile!

m thinking of getting this or the ZTE Blade for my dad. He has a tendency to leave his phones in places. I don't suppose either has a tracker or if there's a good app which can allow you to track where the phone is? Can anybody please advise? Thanks
Got one of these from this offer. It was locked to O2 and came with USB cable. However the touch screen wasn't working properly on the lower half. Eventually got through to O2 returns dept and a replacement should be arriving Monday...hopefully. Returns were good but boy was it hard work getting transferred to them.
I got an LG K4 through the O2 Like New. I dread to think where they get their stock. It was locked to O2, but was full of Orange bloatware. But not UK Orange, there were pre-installed and non-removable Orange apps in French, Spanish and I think Turkish on there.

Sorry about that. Still weird that they would omit it from the G5 though, especially considering it was added for the UK G4 Play variant.

You do get NFC with UK spec.. Here is the proof.. :-
I bought one new few months back and find it frustrating.
Google Maps & Spotify grind it to a halt and if you try use both at the same time, you've no chance.

It's only good if using one app at a time. Using maps while playing music over bluetooth is too much for the phone to handle. It would have been a great phone if only Lenovo hadn't crippled it with 1GB RAM for the UK.

Thanks for the heads up - will bear in mind

Both would have been nice. I don't get why they also omitted NFC from the UK G5, yet other countries get the feature. It makes no sense when NFC components cost about 5p.

Yep who cares about NFC, 2GB is far more important.

is there a better value phone than this in the UK (not including gearbeast alieexpress imports). Looking to get this for someone to upgrade a lumia 435. Thanks

Simple, place the order and select the £10 SIM option. You should then notice that the amount isn't actually added to the basket. You only pay for the phone. O2 expect you to top up the SIM separately after you receive your order, but obviously you don't have to.

Can anyone help. Has this got 1GB RAM or 2GB RAM?

The UK variant is 1GB RAM, but it also includes NFC which is missing from the 2GB RAM variants sold in other countries.

I ordered a Like New phone last week it comes with only phone, no micro usb cable was included.
It was not the case earlier (it used to come with microusb cable)
Can someone please confirm before I give them a call?

Phone only. Don't you have a micro USB knocking about? I've got them coming out my ears.

The USB cables on O2 Like New phones are usually found on the opposite side of the box to the phone, under the same piece of plastic film (it folds to the underside of the cardboard from where the phone is found).
I've had many New and Like New phones direct from O2, from different manufacturers. They have always been locked to the O2 network. The Moto G4 Play is also locked to O2, I can confirm this.
