No he wasn't. He was perfect in The Sweeny and Minder, two of the best series ever made. And has acted in loads of other stuff.

Excellent price, well worth it. I also have to add I actually enjoyed the Gary Webster years too. Not as good as Waterman but upon watching again I enjoyed them more than I did the first time.
