I've tried that but it just resets the ticket counter back to zero. I might just try to buy the tickets at the cinema using the discount instead. Thanks.

I now on cineworld you have to select 1 ticket and then add the code to get the 2nd ticket free - give that a go.

Faisal above was having similar difficulties, give Vue a bell or use the code when you go down.

Does anyone know how you use these codes on Vue? I keep entering the code on the website but it just changes the number of seats to zero and then tries to charge full price when I select 2.

Cheapest quote was £1.79 for me for some reason. Should still be a good deal though as long as the code comes through and it works.

Yeh they should allow it when you book there. Give them a call if you have concerns.

going vue ive tried booking it,it dont complete the booking for some reason will vue take the code when i go there?

If going to the cinema, e.g. Showcase, they will ask for your code and they then apply the discount before paying. Online there's an option to add your code at booking and can collect your tickets at the cinema (dependant on franchise).

Just a heads up for people I had put in my policy number to claim my reward but after 48 hours there was no sign of it ever have been processed. I decided to ry again today and put in the quote number and it was updated straight away.

I have now also linked myself onto the code giveaway site to offer the codes I won't be using.

Yes - and they'll probably need to be chased up if last time's anything to go by. They probably don't like the idea of having to meet their part of the bargain on a tiny transaction, but the contract's clear and they'll give way with a little pressure.

Once you get the insurance out and validate your purchase with the offer, you get the 2 for 1 codes that can be used for a whole year. It's not one code, when you use the app it will generate a code which is valid for the week, so effectively you have a code a week for the whole year.

Another good thing is , if you have a Cineworld unlimited card you can use that and a code an get 2 tickets , so for the cost of a unlimited card at £17 a month you get 2 free tickets a week , at over £10 a ticket at my cinema that's over £80 for a months tickets for £17 , and of course the extra cost of £1.11 just thought I'd share

Anyone having problems receiving their code, download the app onto your phone, and register this way. Mine recognised the insurance ref number instantly and my code was available for use. Simples.
