Thanks OP gone for this, good spec for the price (about £23 after cashback), but bit worried about no wifi ac or aeriel, no gigabit lan, no bluetooth and reports of unstable OS. Hopefully the 7.1 update will fix things. We'll see...

Anyway seller sent me a message it is OOS however they had 2 with UK plug and like 16 with other plug at time of my purchase. Have it refunded and I'm not unhappy because of the mixed reviews about wifi performance and lack of BT / gigabit lan. At the end have bought a more expensive one with s912 soc / 3GB RAM / wifi ac / gigabit lan using the code above for 43, we will see.

got an adapter - says 1gb/8gb both on the box and when powered up - AND in fact just looked my order says 1gb BUT the link etc to their site tha I follwed says 2GB /16GB so my order achkowledgment if I had read it in detail would have told me but why would I expect that to be different !!?!?

Received mine, but just cannot update to android 7.1. Copied files to SD card and although File Explorer can locate the files, when you come to update, neither of the suggested update methods can "see" the image. Anybody else succesfully updated?

I did flash the custom rom with root, but was full of russian stuff so I went back to stock. They do explain how to root the factory rom but the translation is incomprehensible to me See if you can decipher it...

To get root 7 Androide did:
1.Nado SuperSu create a text file without an ending .txt textBOOTIMAGE = / dev / block / boot
2. Flash card throw Recovery for 7 Androyd created Fail SuperSu and SuperSU.zip (5,63 MB)
3. Boot into Recovery with USB there "Advanced" ==> "File Manager" find the file on a flash drive that put his name it .SuperSu in and copy it into the folder / system
3. Without leaving the Recovery go to "Set" and set SuperSU.zip (5,63 MB)
