tried to register but wouldn't accept my Nationwide Select Credit card, saying I need to use a VISA card, which it is!

I had the same issue last night. Have just tried again and it registered fine, so may be worthwhile trying again?

This ends on 14th may, and i think it is a one time only deal. The £25 amazon one last year was one time only..

It works with NW debit cards and credit cards. So if you have a flex account and a credit card you can use each card for this offer once. So, as i have a flexaccount, a flexplus, a flexdirect and a credit card i can go 4x£30 (separate transactions).
Note that many NW credit card accounts with more than one card issued on that account will have the same card number on each card, so only one use on this offer per credit card account. So wifey can't use her card as well.
Keep an eye out for the £5 off £30 vouchers in newspapers to use in tandem!

Hot from me. I got this last month and they were very quick to pay the £5. It is a once only offer though but they also had it in the LIDL Spring magazine (date now expired) which was only limited to how many magazines you could get and how often you could spend £30. B&Q on the same Nationwide Rewards page offered 3% cash back and then changed it to 1% and even then I'm still waiting for it almost a month later for £1.10 instead of £3.30 after a £110 spend

Although this offer says it expires on 14th May I have just been offered the same deal on my Rewards page valid until 1/6. I've only recently opened an account with Nationwide and the only shop I've used the card in is Lidl last week so I'm very pleased with it. Some of the rewards seem to be customer specific, like this one, whereas others seem to be widely available. Combined with the 5% interest offered on first £2500 balance for first year their Flexdirect seems one of the best accounts out there at the moment.
