Used this retailer a couple of times , once for a camera and another time for a phone . Both arrived within a week with no import duty to pay. As for warranty not sure as I don't keep my gadgets for more than a few months. Voted hot.
Way better spec than the uk variant and about £200 saving.

Dodgy Site. So not worth it.

Used site lots. Bought iPads and iphones and Samsung phones. No problems ever.

I bought one a week ago for higher price. Arrived within 5 days. Brand new phone, dual pin charger with UK adapter, earphones, USB-C cable. You can use PayPal. They offer 12 months warranty on mobiles too.

Everytime I see a deal for this phone I keep showing my boyfriend. He is desperate for one, I said if he quits smoking totally and doesn't rely on the ecig within a month of stopping I will buy him one.... He declined the offer. He's too much owing on current phone can't upgrade and can't afford to buy outright etc.

used them once, had a massive problem with them after my LG G4 boot looped. After six months of chasing them (with them "repairing" my phone in Hong Kong), and back and forth emails they sent me a refurbished Nexus 6p (Netherlands IMEI) with me paying a little extra. Never complained since. It seems that they get legit phones from countries like Korea, China, Indonesia etc.

Yeh does my head in he smokes, he can't afford to smoke... He bought a vaping set few months back and he was alright on it, then come weekend he was in pubs and smoking just because drinking... I wasn't even there but knew he would and I sent him text and said you smoking I know and I'm not even there!

Yeh, I thought it was very good offer quit smoking, in return he gets a phone and saves money in future.

Caveat emptor eGlobalCentral. Customer service takes 48 hours on average (excluding weekends!) to reply, and expect a 3 month turnaround when returning items that are faulty.

I have to say that I was impressed with Lg's customer service, my wife's 13 month old LG G3 had a problem and they collected it at my work and it was returned by courier a week later with 6 month guarantee on the repair.

My experience will LG G3 is the same, had the hairline crack issue 4 times, on the 4th time is was out of warranty.

The LG customer service is poor. They do not care one bit.

Having had to chuck an LG G4 in the bin, if it is down to the problem the others had it should be solved, dodgy soldering. However if it is a generic point about no warranty, then, point well made.

Lg were great with my bootlooping g4 after 14 months. Collected and delivered back to me

S8 is better, this is cheaper

Ah, but you was in warranty. And I had the hairline crack issues which never really was resolved. And once out of warranty I barely got a reply or any help what so ever.

It have some better audio processor as far I know. Also EU version isn't a dual SIM I think.

Main differences - this has 64Gb, dual-SIM & the quad-DAC. UK version only has 32Gb, single-SIM & no quad-DAC.

Hardly better than:

32GB is not a problem as it has microsd slot (up to 256 GB supported)... but I agree that 64GB would be handy.
How many people care for dual sim? Never had a need for it in 20 years..

Never mind the warranty but wouldn't paying with PayPal/ credit card be safe? I they don't deliver you can always use charge back and get money back.

When you take into account the much higher cost (£600?) of the UK model, then this is much better imo. You're getting double the storage here & 2 extra features for £200 lower.

Sounds like you need to trade him in for a more reliable model.

Just bought one. I know I won't get warranty from LG but it's worth the gamble for the price and the features mentioned above. I've bought from eGlobal before with no issues, but they sound hit and miss, so here's hoping.

This or the v20? I haven't had any issues with LG customer service despite having to send my G4 back twice, and I would rather keep the removable battery feature in my next phone.

Removable battery is pretty important to me, not so much so that I can carry multiple around, but I know that after a year the battery will have degraded and I can easily buy a new one. With the G6 (or any sealed battery phone) you're a bit screwed when the battery life starts to drop off.

However... G6 is smaller, faster, waterproof and dare I say a better looking phone.

Course the other option is to cheap out and get a G5. :/

Exactly my theory on the battery. Husband uses his phones a LOT and after a year they really go downhill and he always ends up upgrading early. I travel a lot and have three spare batteries so I never need to do the constant looking for a plug thing. I think this alone will make it the v20 for me.

Just be aware, if you choose the V20 It might be difficult / impossible to source brand new, genuine batteries for it - unless you know otherwise, or willing to risk it with secondhand / generic batteries.

yes but that was with the 3% discount already included in the price. So they have increased the price as the 3% discount period is over but now you can use the discount code to lower it. Think it's overall the same price as I paid £390 for the platinum.
