Not that I'm anti-Hisense, but OLED is an actual technology, ULED is a marketing term.

I had major issues with my Sony tv to begin with. However recent software updates and the ability to sort reset means the tv is very rarely out of action. As for my ysp2500 soundbar wireless subwoofer

It gets increasingly more expensive to create a larger screen. Consider manufacturing tech, and demand and supply.

Whatever marketing term it is... in this case, the 65" hisense is cheaper and has better picture quality

Not sure about the xd series but the W we have has been decent. With Sony you are paying for screen quality, which is truly outstanding. 3 x USBs, freeview, freesat, tv recording and slim aluminium bezel top it off. The android experience is ok. It's like buying a mediocre Samsung tablet. Netflix runs perfect and you can play literally anything (including 3D movies) from USB. We've not had random reboots or anything silly, but the occasional slow down that's all. Kodi runs great by the way. Overall the TV is 9/10 for me. 7/10 for the software and easily 10/10 for everything else. For info., I'm referring to the KDL- 65W859cbu.

I came so close to buying the 55xd8005 that was on lightning offer with Amazon a few weeks back, so went and had a party on my bosses 55xd85......it wasn't a good experience, as it froze several times in the space of me playing for half an hour, and he advised me against as he had to reboor regularly. He said it was better than when he first bought it, especially with one of the recent updates, and it's fine if he doesn't use any of the smart features......Perhaps he got a lemon ,but it properly put me off any android set .

Was the discount code applied for Richer Sounds online or instore for the Hisense to get it done to £899
I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy a Sony at the moment - not whilst they use that dogs dinner Android OS.......and again, the Hisense 65M7000 is a much better TV (by miles) in my opinion.
Maybe it's just me, but £1000 is far too much to spend on a compromise of a TV.

Sorry, but it's not even in the same ball park as OLED. It's just Hisenses marketing term for their premium UHD TV's. However, I agree that the 65M7000 is a nicer overall TV than this mid/low end LG.

Obv OLED is better but a lot more expensive. Hisense m7000 series(55" and 65")are very well reviewed

Been posted a few times before at £999 Never got hot. A month ago it was £899 at richer sounds. With this sort of money i'd go for Hisense 65m7000 Its 65" and its ULED and its only £859 at AO.COM. £899 at richer sounds.. both prices are after discount code applied
