This is the device with 'keyboard' that is really a flat Wacom-like touchpad. The keyboard lights up and has some haptic feedback I think. I was really interested in this device but reviews but me off, the keyboard not really up to the task for productivity.
This is is the android rather than the windows version.

Overall reviews are very good, although many seem to be based on free test-devices, so not sure how reliable. Keyboard might take some time to get used to (if at all).
I'm still undecided, don't need the stylus function for example... any good alternatives in this price range for 2in1s?

I bought this (and posted a deal) last time the Android one was around this price. After 3 moths+ of using it as my principle tablet it's "OK". I use the keyboard but not the stylus much. Having 4GB RAM does make it quite good at coping with almost anything.
It's still a lot of money for a tablet, but it's more reasonable than the normal price, which is far too high.
Also note that the note taking app on *Android* does not do OCR even though Lenovo demoed it doing that at launch. The Windows one does. But even with this is £90 more.

We have the windows model at home. As above, we turned off the sounds for the keyboard, but it does work surprisingly well once you acclimatise to the lack of physical keys, so you end up looking at it more.
Physically, it's an amazing piece of kit. So thin, rigid. Good battery life, poor charging speed, but it does use Micro USB, so you can charge it anywhere.

Got to applaud Lenovo for trying something different but given the level and quality of customer support it's a big risk at this cost. I think I would have to get the Windows one as Android is good in its own right but never been great for productivity.

I didn't even know Amazon had it around this price, by the time I was looking into buying it, the only ones selling on Amazon were third parties. For those looking now, Argos have them (grey & gold models), Curry's may have some in local stores and JohnLewis, all at £350.
Arguably the best deal would be via JohnLewis with 2 year guarantee included, but only the gold model is available to buy via website (grey is out of stock, and my local didn't have any).
However I phoned today, and spoke with a very helpful girl, through her I was able to buy a grey one from another store and get home delivery via courier "within 5 working days". I'm not really a clumsy person, but for a £350 tablet I thought the extra £35 2yr accidental cover was worth getting.

It's back in stock at Amazon. I actually ordered it directly from Lenovo last weekend for 349, TCB had a promotion with 10% cashback. And I had the option to add the sleeve for just £1 extra, now waiting for delivery.

Shame you didn't post that deal as I would have gone for that. Been looking for a decent price drop on this with a sleeve for a while. Lenovo has put their prices back up again after the holiday weekend.
