Received mine this morning and can confirm its a 2 GB model complete with original power supply and USB cable. Immaculate condition except for a couple of little ink spots on back panel which cleaned off easily. Also mine had the front panel not quite clipped on but that was easily fixed (probably a final QC issue).
All in all, a bargain. Thanks OP!

It's only got 16gb internal storage, but you could copy movoes to a microSD card and use that with Kodi and it would work perfectly fine.

Will be pretty useless with 1gb of ram it will struggle with most things and all but the most basic games will be unplayable the only real use for this tablet is as a media player for Kodi and Netflix.

So not useless then? :smirk: Probably 90% of tablets are only used for playing media and web browsing.
Heat from me. Had to send an Argos refurbished Lenovo tablet back recently that i bought last May for £69.99 because it had charging problems. They attempted to repair it but couldn't so gave a full refund 11 months after purchase. Well worth another try at this price.

Wow
Just remember if u looking for tables don't buy with 1gb ram. Minimum 2gb ram and u got trouble free tablet.
Lenovo 10.1 screen. 16gb memory is just enough but can be added extra memory if needed. 5mpix cam it's OK. Battery life is very good and now the most important thing 2GB of ram. Bought grade B from argos and surprisingly got just couple small scratches on screen almost invisible all body around if perfect condition so well done Argos

Shame it's not 2gb of ram otherwise I'd be all over it. Argos do well with these refurb tablets. I bought a refurb Asus tablet from them last year and it was in perfect condition but only had 1gb of ram and it struggles. Heat for the deal though.

People moaning about the spec of a £60 tablet. I have 4 of these in my home and they haven't missed a beat in all the time I've owned them.
£60 is a bargain even if you just use it for browsing.
The only thing I don't like about it, as stated in a post above, the lack of multiple user accounts is a let down.

apart from 1GB of RAM, the screen is also 1280 x 800.
I own the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70, it's great when it works, but my device has audio issues, and laggy scrolling, which has affected a lot of other users.
Lenovo themselves don't bother to fix it and had to scroll through various user forums to find a fix.
Decent price if it's a gift for a kid i guess, but it will workout being more frustrating than worth it in the long run

I have a slightly better version, with 2GB of RAM and Full HD screen. It is a decent devices, and it runs many apps just fine, but no match for a top of the range tablet.
This one seems like a cheaper version, and if that is true, I would avoid it.

Unbelievable that a tablet is used as an occupied or not occupied sign. A sad indictment of so called progress. The rare earth metals, the practically slave labour China etc. And these things are used as door signs. Ugh. Makes me feel a little ill.

If you need a tablet hanging on the door to ensure the most efficient use of a meeting space, you are doing many things wrong. Christ, what did people do before tablet computers? Have 100% more meeting rooms than they really needed, I'm sure.

I'm just guessing here, but you don't spend a lot of time in meeting rooms do you?
Tablet type screens that hook in to Outlook calendars, with people able to book meeting rooms easily, have rooms freed up easily, and to do that needing less and less meeting rooms is a good thing.
Like I said, you don't understand the way a modern office works, and how the price of a £100 tablet is absolutely nothing in the scheme of things. That's fine...it's no big deal...but it also doesn't make it a sign of how crazy the world has become. It just means you don't understand.
Blither
30 May 17#53
Oh I understand alright. The current cost of these kinds of gadgets being low is exactly how progress actually harms the world in the long run.
The efficiency and ease with which people can book meeting rooms is one thing, but why does the door even need to state it? Why not just have all of the information on Outlook calenders? No physical representation is required. If you must, have a little slidey thing so that when the person who has booked the room enters it, they can show that it is occupied. This isn't rocket science.
As for "it's just a £100 tablet".. yes, it is, well done. And I could buy however many I like and use them for whatever I like, and that makes it fine, doesn't it? Well, no, not really. It doesn't. Not in the long term, not in the grand scheme of things. As mentioned before, rare earth metals, co2 output, damage done to poor little Chinese timmy who is working 18 hours a day from 4 years old. It's very easy to just look at up front cost and think that that's alright then, but to me it's a fantastic example *of the sickeningly inefficient excesses of humanity. They are entirely unnecessary and therein lies the problem. There are countless other, low carbon, low rare earth metals, solutions to this problem, but people can't be arsed to utilise them.
ourdave
30 May 17#54
They have he little slidey things too.
People like them, they're quaint.
Quick example: Frank thinks he's booked the room. So does Jim. They're both adamant.
Slidey thing says either 'In Use' or 'Vacant'. How is that helping resolve the problem?
They could go down to their desk and check calendars I suppose. But that takes time doesn't it? If only there was some way of displaying it on the door?
There could well be countless other low tech solutions. But a piece of paper and blutac isn't one of them. Or the slidey thing.
I've worked in offices for 23 years and getting meeting rooms has always been a pain - these help.
There are other costs to factor in: you're right. But I'm not sure that meeting room tablets is the most appropriate place to start the crusade. But maybe it is...you clearly feel strongly about it.
Companies save money and increase efficiencies with things like this though: I'm not sure ecological considerations come anywhere near the top of their thinking.
And there, very likely, is the problem you're trying to point out.
Blither to ourdave
30 May 17#56
Yep, you nailed it.
Perhaps I wrongly assumed that every person booking the room would have access to the room booking website on their phone. It seems like a very over-engineered solution.
