Not all of these are unlockable.
Better to buy like new @ £19.99 as there is no hands free and charger in new mobile @ £30

O2 take the **** with thier No Charger included policy. Especially if you can get the same phone elsewhere for the same price or cheaper with a charger included. I queried this with their customer service team a few years back and asked for a refund at value of a generic charger they sell separately seen as I'm paying full price for a not so fully boxed phone. They didn't budge so returned the phone and bought elsewhere.

Great phone. I bought one last month for £19 last time the deal was posted. Not added any credit to the sim card just using it as a mini tablet on wifi around the home and an MP3 player/video player out and about.

It wasn't this phone. I think it was some cheap alcatel or something. Ended up getting it from Tesco.

Can anyone confirm: do these have Bluetooth LE?

Apparently BLE is a subset of Bluetooth 4.0, which this phone has. I Googled it btw
Would this be a reasonable replacement for my aging Huawei Ascend G300?

It's an ideal tightwad replacement. Cex will take your admittedly carp G300 off your hands for around the cost of this phone.

yes, better os, 1gb ram. but it will be only marginally better.

Thanks, but I'd Googled it too. :stuck_out_tongue: While it seems clear that if a device has a Bluetooth version earlier than 4.0 then it definitely does not have LE, I couldn't find anything to confirm that if a device has 4.0 then it definitely does have LE. It appears that some 4.0 devices have LE, some do not. But if that's incorrect, I'd be VERY grateful of a link.
FWIW, I found this: "The Bluetooth 4.0 specification permits devices to implement either or both of the LE and Classic systems."
...and this: "So you can have a Bluetooth 4.0 device that does not support Bluetooth LE or only Bluetooth LE."
...but those statements/opinions may not be correct.

I contacted two sellers (unlockers) on Ebay bur neither have replied yet.
Got one for the kids as a spare and unlocked perfectly from the same seller.
