Got to say Zinsser is top stuff ... We used it in the bathroom and the Decorater claimed it was the best stuff he ever used

try leyland contract, £15 per 10l @screwfix, much better paint.Dulux is usually good but a bit more expensive.

Dulux magnolia matt 6L is currently in B&M for £16.99. I went with that as a safe option as I'd read bad reviews of Johnson and also Crown paints

I wont TOUCH Crown paints, I have had so many issues with poor paint quality with their gloss paints.
If you want a decent cheap paint, keep an eye on Lidl/Aldi, ditto for wood stains and varnish.
If you need a pro paint, due to damp, mould, smoke damage etc, buy Zinsser.

As lizbubbles, got given 2 x 10 ltr tubs of this to paint my sisters house; after FIVE coats and still showing patchy, I gave up and went for something decent; it is so thin, even a fingerprint shows through it.
Their trade paint is supposed to be great, but this is just ****.

Boom tried to get this at Homebase and saw it a few weeks ago in argos but no stock. Managed to nap two in exeter stores so ideal for the new house
