Found in Norwich Hall Road Asda, not sure whether it will be the same price in other stores.

I looked in Asda Greyhound Park, Chester. They had Black Label reduced to £15, which is a decent price. Double Black was still £33 though.

Not as peaty as I expected but cheap enough not to be guilty mixing with ginger.

One for all you boggy peat monsters out there!
Good price but claiming £33 as normal retail is dubious, maybe £22, but still hot at this price.
Like the whisky in your throat, heat added!

The single black goes for anything upto £25 so this price for the double black is a steal.
Seems I picked the wrong day to stop drinking

Marketing meeting at Diagio:
"Right, guys, we've got a load of Islay malt and the cheap blend market is now saturated. How do we shift it?"
"Double the price and put the words "double" and "black" on the label and it'll sell like hotcakes!"
"Genius!"

For £17 thats a Duesie, at £30 its a good blend but for anything shy of £20 . . . its bonafide. :sunglasses:
Thanks for the heads up, will keep an eye out.

Scorchio! I'd drink that rather than some single malts that I can think of. Actually, I'd say that about the standard black but this is even better.
