Whut?
Who buys more than one cordless phone nowdays?
Landlines are for ignoring and being an answer machine, that's it ...unless you actually want to answer PPI calls all day

Same here, my cordless phone sits there with zero usage and can't be used, pick up the phone and within 5 seconds the battery is dead. I think I might go for an old school wired telephone.

Funny that 99.9% of my nuisance calls stopped after paying BT for their service.

Cheap, but how many people need only a single cordless phone nowadays?

Me. Well, I don't even plug a landline phone into mine. Just use it for Internet. Everyone has a mobile, right?

looks good! Were really struggling with our cordless phones as they never get used, so when we do come to need them the batteries are shot.
we leave the phones on their bases for months at a time, so it ruins the memory.
Anyone know of Lithium Polymer batteries/phones?

just double it up with your other phones so you can have the call block service for much less than other phones that can do this.

.. also not mentioned in the manual, is a red LED on the base, on when answerphone is set, flashes on ring, and pulses to denote a message !

I live in a 3 bed house with front and rear gardens. I have one mobile phone as well. No problems whatsoever.

Its a standard feature of all DECT phones... the new handset(s) dont even have to be the same brand ! (although it may not charge on the other manufacturers base of course)

Are you sure?
It used to be possible
Maybe you can still do this with these phones.

Oh YES they will.... you just reregister the "spare" handset to the base in use !
