I just picked up 8 at my local, 4 were for me and 4 for a friend but the cashier didn't mention a limit just scanned them through as normal. I guess some stores may be abit more relaxed about it. Thanks op.

Nope, your maths is perfectly right.
There is 12 bottles, each with 200ml, making 2400ml in £1.50. divide 2400ml by 100 = 24 parts of 100ml -> £1.50/24 = 6.25p per 100ml
