bought the 43 inch version a month or so back very good tv for the price. I will warn you tho you will spend a while fiddling with the settings until you get the best looking picture the out of the box settings are very poor it makes the tv look poor in my opinion. also make sure you are watching things in at least hd quality as sd looks awful if you want to see what the tv can do load up YouTube on the tv search 4k picture test and it will run true 4k it looks amazing. for that price I wish I had waited now and got this one lol.

Just set mine up, absolutely delighted for the price I paid. Cracking picture on HD and SD. The viewing angles aren't as good as my old Panasonic plasma, but I didn't expect them to be.
Can't get it to tune in Freesat though, I've plugged the cable in, but it just doesn't find any channels at all.

The free view play upgrade has crippled the epg :disappointed:
I saw somewhere that you can uninstall it, but now can't find the info again...
Do you know where the firmware files are? I can't see anything for the 50M3300 nor the 49M3000 on the Hisense site. Thanks

I've owned this TV for nearly a year (got it for the same price...). I am happy with it for the price I paid however I am now shopping around for a new TV. I will list the disadvantages (my opinion).
- lack of app updates (still running an old iPlayer version)
- lack of other on demand apps such as ITV/5/channel 4
- HD (720p/1080p) seems to be slightly grainy on Netflix. I'm not sure whether the TV is trying to upscale non 4k content but i have compared it with 2 other televisions that don't have this issue. 4k looks good, not great however. Both YouTube and Netflix.
- Ghosting/white backlight in patches. Can only be seen on a black screen.
Good value for money though and if you have Firestick or Chromecast you will get the on demand apps anyway. I have an Xbox One S that I have set to output at 4k resolution and it is decent enough.

Used being open to interpretation.
"A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.
The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop."
You'd need to see it on before buying as you would expect to see in a shop.

distance selling regulations doesnt let you use a product before deciding whether to keep it or not, its not a 'try before you buy'
they are technically allowed to charge for the devaluation of the product due to your handling if you used the product
edit - distance selling regulations doesnt exist anymore anyway, but it is the consumer contracts regulations. buyer protection is roughly the same though

Got the Hisense M7000 my self. If this is anything like that then it's well worth the money. However, Did take make a few hours to get the picture settings just right as the default out of the box ones where poor for both my PS4 and PC. Head over to the AVforums to get the best picture settings.

I've been looking at the M3300 and this code brings it down to £359.00.
Not sure of the differences between them. I was looking at the 50" M3300 as it was pretty well reviewed all around for a budget 4K aside from the viewing angles. Input lag for gaming was decent. Same as this TV, it has HDR via HDMI after firmware update.
