This is the best price you can get for the 55m7000(Hisense's top range)with 5 year warranty,u wont get this price from richer sounds.. i dont think the 65" is worth the extra hundreds of pounds for the extra 15". very well reviewed,if u know m7000 series, then nothing needs to be said here,u know what to expect. Top picture quality for the price range
For those who vote cold,i beg you to suggest a better TV for the price range or the same TV at a cheaper price with similar warranty

Amazing TV default picture settings out of the box are really bad. PS4 Pro and PC gaming in 4K look great on this TV and HDR is amazing on it.
Just be aware a few people on Avforums have mentioned they have had issues with this TV. Weather it being buzzing sounds coming from the TV. Black bars flashing ect. Appears these issues are with sets made in late 2016. Mine was made in Feb 2017 and have had no issues with it in the 2 months of owning it.

Would this TV be a big upgrade over my 2 year old Sony KDL49 x8505b non hdr TV .. Also what nit brightness does this hisense produce when using HDR .. Another thing I was worried about uneven backlight and greyish blacks instead of more truer deep black ..this hisense uses a VA panel doesn't it ?

I've literally just bought this T.V from Very for £ 542.98 with code KNWJ6 with only one-year warranty, I was holding out for Ks7000 but that boat seems to have sailed. Really hard to lock down whether this telly is 10 bit or not but either way only goes to about 400nits.
its a 8 bit +FRC so not 10 bit. you get 2 year warranty as standard from hisense I'm sure

hmmmm I thinking about canceling, I'm not excited about it.
linhang90
27 May 17#8
How did u get £542.98. R u sure its the m7000 which is the top of hisense range. And if u include the £100 credit i wish u the best of luck.. i've heard loads of negative things about their Buy Now Pay Later policy.. they might try to charge u for each payment even if u pay it within the time frame given.

I bought this last month. Literally don't know how people whinge about settings from out the box. Unless your super picky nothing wrong. I've had use of Samsung tv and there smart apps are 100 x better however price won for me. If I'm bothered about smart tv Apple TV/chromecast would solve majority I would like to think

27 May 171#13
Very is not dodgy website, in fact their customer service, shipping, returns, refunds system is excellent and always on time. That said, it will only bite you hard if you are late paying or don't pay. If I were you I'd use the BNPL offer on the M7000, best bang for the buck...wouldn't worry too much about warranty.
oliverreed to l33tpilot
28 May 171#29
This is the complete opposite to my experience with very.
Although I did use BNPL that's not what gave me the discount.
Oh and the 1.2% Top cash back, nearly pays for the shipping.

After registering with VERY,it still wouldnt let me try to see if discount code works or not unless i sign up to their credit agreement to open a VERY account which I find it dodgy.. i've registered with VERY and still i need to open an account which says below "This is a Credit Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Sign it only if you want to be legally bound by its terms". I think i'll pass saving the £50+ and go for 3 more yr warranty from JL who has better reputation

Collectorcol strangely I was going to upgrade to the exact tv  I tried the 55 " 3D OLED but I didn't rate the picture on SD material or poorly mastered blurays which looked great on my Sony ? , also I noticed annoying dot crawl on HD and UHD movies but HDR on UHD movies was simply stunning plus the 3D was immense !

There is a plex app. The apps are a bit clunky compared to samsung, but good enough.

28 May 171#27
Great TV for the money. Couple of things I've found with my one.
Built in plex app is weird. Playing the same video through the built in plex vs the plex app from my Fire TV box gave massively different video quality. The built in one looked like old fashioned NTSC video. Really strange colours.
As with all of these flat panels, the built in speakers are pants. Less choice with silver soundbars. I bought an LG one and the ARC wouldn't work. Would keep losing the fact it had a speaker attached and have to go through a couple of menus to reconnect it. Every time..
Swapped for a Samsung one, still have to power speaker on manually, but it at least reconnects with ARC.
But, like I said, heck of a TV for the money.

29 May 17#44
Dear Mr Dransfield,
Thank you for your enquiry.
In order to apply a price reduction on a purchase, the criteria in our pricing policy must be met. I regret that after review the request you have submitted does not match all or parts of this policy.
In order to match a price request, high street competitors trade on the same basis as us, with premises on a high street or comparable shopping destination freely open to the public in the UK mainland. They should carry a reasonable range of goods in stock for you to buy and take away, with clearly displayed prices. Their websites need to trade under the same brand and on the same basis as their high street shops.
Outlets which trade on a different basis to us, such as those that operate only on the internet or through mail-order, showrooms attached to internet-only companies, collection points, auction sites, factory outlets, membership clubs, duty-free shops, market stalls or home shopping channels, are not deemed equivalent high street competitors. We also don't match competitors who are in administration or closing down.
Therefore, on this occasion I regret that I cannot match the price offered by PRC Direct. If you would like to view more information about Never Knowingly Undersold and our pricing you can do so on our website.
I am sorry I have not been able to reduce the price on this occasion. If you require any further information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
I've just checked, the 55m7000 has become unavailable on PRC,thats probably why. I'd recommend you to keep checking on PRC and submit another price match request when it becomes available for JL to check

Dear Paul,

I appreciate you taking the time to get back in touch, however, the link you provided me with shows no real verification that we have accepted this price match claim for other customers. In the interest of complete fairness our Price Match policy is the same for all customers, and each claim will be subject to the same criteria on an individual basis.

I would understand if the majority have actually brought one. I have mentioned before there is lag on the EPG as in you press the button on the remote it takes ages for the tv to communicate in real time... Bit annoying... There is no upscaling on 4k content in Netflix. The only button that allows you to turn tv on is the on button and the Hisense logo sits in the middle of the screen to long before it shows your channel. If however you want to get rid of the lag you then have to forfeit freeview play and PVR it also made the usb ports redundant through what Hisense called a software update. By all means buy it if you don't mind the cons

You can't just assume the people saying they like it haven't bought one.. those three things you listed are very small problems to deal with in return for a good TV with a good picture at a good size. What was the problem with the USB ports? I've had no problems with any of mine? Yeah, it's not perfect, but I'm sure you could even find faults with the £3.5k OLED ones if you tried. For the price, it's an amazing product.

31 May 17#68
As they say each to there own. Trivial? Would like things to be in sync. What happened as regards usb once Hisense gave me update i was unable to record, use PVR or watch a film from usb. I have certainly seen other people complain about tv's that take ages from standby to display a picture or being able to operate the remote quickly and yes your quite right about other expensive models thats why theykeep bringing out different model numbers of the same code for example uj630 then a uj770 all resulting in enhancement somewhere inside
