Wiggle the cycle shop always put a very small bag of these in with their orders for some reason. Absolutely vile, always wish they'd put in a bit of chocolate or a toffee instead. Gelatin is collagen extracted from the skin, bones, and connective tissues of animals such as domesticated cattle, chicken, pigs, and fish.

Not sure why the stuff is so overpriced here in the UK. I can get 400g for little over 1 Euro at Aldi in Germany.

Maybe because cow bones are cheaper in Germany. We killed and burned allmost all our cattle to "prevent" spread of mad cow disease few years ago.
