Halo 5 is a good game. The campaign is maybe a little weak, but the multiplayer is excellent. I also find it funny that people complain about the download size. 343 have added a ton of new content since launch and that should be applauded.

No one here has said this is inherently a bad deal. I for one find it helpful to know whether a game has been cheaper before, how long ago it was cheaper and how long it was at that price - do you ever visit CamelCamelCamel? The second poster offered his opinion which is perfectly fine - this is a forum where people share opinions. The third poster simply offered info on storage - may be very relevant to people on a 500GB Xbox which is close to full capacity.

If you have never played halo before you might enjoy this. Many life long halo fans (and general halo fans too) do not. The story is weak and deviates from canon, frankly it's shoehorned, it was also marketed as a different game / story arc entirely. Mechanics and enemies are way off to. Basically it's cod with a reskin. As someone who loved halo, would book time of work for release, preorder, grab the novels & merch etc it's destroyed my love. I will not be preordering, or getting anything to do with the next (unless out actually ends up being halo) and that's sad as I'm not the only life long fan that ms / 343 have done this to. At realise they also had some odd policies on online abuse which contradicted kiki wolfkill's stance and statement at the time. Nuts!
Now as I said if you've never played halo before you might like it. The mp is it's slightly redeeming feature and that's from someone who isn't a fan of mp.

What is she grateful for? someone saying it's been cheaper. (true of most things but the old time machine joke springs to mind) someone saying he didnt like it. (for every one person who does not, there may be one person who did) and someone saying it'll take up alot of hdd (the majority of latest gen games of this type take up alot of hdd - this one moreso but still) besides I was just teasing about the 'tone of the thread' - trying to add a bit of light hearted humour. Worth pointing out that the xbox game pass 14 day free trial includes Halo 5 so for those just wanting to try out the campaign that would be a cheaper way to go...or at least decide whether its worth a purchase.

I had this version - I liked it - first Halo I had played, only played campaign not mp for no particular reason. I enjoyed it as an alernative to my usual cod sessions. :man:

Be warned there is something like 80gb off install and updates before you can play. I wasn't patient enough and gave up before even playing it.
