Ultimate Compound makes T-Cut look like a Brillo pad. It is really good at removing scuffs and scratches.

Does Megs UC do anything for swirls?
Or is that a DA polisher jobby?
Bought my car last month and whoever had it before didnt give AF! Looks like a spiders web all over :disappointed:

I'll have a look into the super resin polish, cheers. Its not just a glaze kind of product to fill them though is it?
I did clay it on the first wash I did, but obvs if polishing would re-claybar it prior for sure

got some of the Gold Class Car Shampoo and Condition from Costco last week and use it for the first time yesterday, certainly leaves a nice finish, quite impressed with it but I'm no expert - (it's only £12 at Costco) - anyone used the quick wax?

Yes got the quick wax and recently tried it, Autoglym Aqua Wax is twice as good in my opinion.

A clay bar will not remove swirls in paint, it is to pick up deposits on the paint, not imperfections. It needs cutting with a compound and an electric mop.
Autoglym super resin polish is a top surface POLISH, not a rectifying treatment for swirls.
Best i have used and most of the trade use is Ferecla.

as mentioned SRP will only mask the swirls and make it look good. you will need machine polisher to remove swirls.

When most people mention toothpaste for headlights, they fail to grasp that it is not straight on with the colgate.
It is a 4 or 5 part process which involves rubbing down with 240 grit wet and dry, with clean soapy water. Then a change of grade to maybe a 400 grit with clean soapy water, then on to an 800 or 1000 production grit with soapy water. Then a cutting compound, then the toothpaste, then the polish, then the glass cleaner.
THE G3 FARECLA REQUIRES A GOOD QUALITY PAD (PREFERABLY NEW AND UNSOILED) AND CAREFULLY APPLIED WATER TO BREAK DOWN THE TOP CRUST.

Hot! I love this stuff but I'm fully stocked at the moment. I may pick up some spate minute detail to go with my clay kit and some of those sponge applicators.
